I was listening to Radio Norfolk this Morning when I heard them mention there was some scaffolding up in front of the Jarrold Stand and that McNally had mentioned to the preseenter of the breakfast show that Norwich planned to sign 5-8 players. Who those players are and whether it includes RVW and Garrido I do not know. Who would you have in that list of 5-8 players?
The scaffoldings there because they are making the tv gantry extend the length of the pitch ,as for players god only knows.
I'll take the full 8 and count garrido and RVW to be 2 of those...Curtis Davies, Izaguirre, Aubameyang/Shane Long, Redmond, Dale Jennings and Leon Britton. Aubameyang wouldn't ever happen but figured I was allowed one that fringed on ludicrous...
interesting ideas. i think davies will go to hull. izaguirre is too much money i reckon, same with aubameyang/long. why jennings? he's barely featured for munich's second string (admittedly, they are probably pretty decent standard - don't know, never seen them!) - i think he'll end up at a championship club if and when he returns. redmond is realistic while britton is a fantastic, random choice! not sure what to make of that!!
Forgive for being pedantic, but can somebody give me a reasonable arguement why Shane Long and Leon Britton would chose to move to Norwich from their present clubs?
they wouldn't thanks warky - didn't realise he'd moved. could be a good signing for barnsley - he's lightning fast!
Perhaps CH Irish roots shine through...and Shane just thinks Birmingham is just one big car park. Perhaps he fancies a payday (of which he probably has two left) and just wants to involved in the revolution. Britton bleeds swan and could surely only happen if Laudrup wants to add some cosmopolitan blood to his midfield. Which, given who he is, he might. Unlikely but there are my arguments... I don't see the WBA or the swans as being that much better than we, just tht those players are fairly settled...
As for Jennings, just think he has something about him and is prem bound...Didn't play much in Germany, spent a fair part of it injured I think...
