Congrats Phil, I for one am glad it was Swans that did it.
You were the most worthy out of that 4, and deserved it.

    Couple of confessions:

On the pitch, both teams very credible but thought Reading had peaked at the right time and thought they'd nick it. That still seemed about right in the early part of both halves... problem was, Reading had no answer to the right wing threat and beat themselves with some basic defensive blunders. Swans on the other hand looked more composed overall and finished well worthy winners.

Off the pitch, kept hearing Reading fans giving it, 'come on you Rs'! What with the hoops and west (of) London bits, I thought 'wannabes' and wondered why they haven't tried harder for a separate and distinct image. Even journalist David McIntyre tweeted the score as Swansea 4 Identity Theft 2!

So as far as I'm concerned, at the end of the day all the right teams came up this year.

    Well done Swans!

They were the better side over the season, Brixton.
    The right result.

Can't disagree there Northolt. Noticed you were backing Swans from the beginning of the POs.

Just thought Reading's late surge might prove a bit too much. Glad I was wrong (not unusual when it comes to predicting results of football matches!).

I think that jutice was done, the three teams that came 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Championship all went up

I must admit, I like the way they play Brixton, it's unusual for me to get a prediction right,
I gave up betting on football , I got so sick of losing!

No strong feelings either way to who went up. What I did find very ironic was the playing of Queens - We are the Champions at the end of the game.

    1) We were the Champions, not them.
    2) they got the better celebrations finishing third because of the ineptitude of the FA meaning we couldn't plan a party.

Gripe over, well done the Swans

Swans played some lovely stuff through the season but they lost at Scunny, Blades & Preston. PL teams will slaughter you if you're that poor on any given day...

Swansea were the best footballing team in the Championship by some margin so it's good to see that kind of approach succeed. I'm actually kind of jealous that you cannot say that about us these days but NW's tactics were always going to be a trade off between style and success. That praise cannot hide the fact that those lovely chaps from the Valleys (Cardiff would have been the same) are going to cause chaos in and around PL grounds next season the like of which has been absent from the top flight for many years. Watch out!

Cheers lads, and by the way QPAAAAAAGH, there was no issues at Wembley with 40,000+ Swansea fans, so think you are being a bit of a Walter Mitty character here, we are not Millwall Cardiff or Leeds for that matter!.....

You never fail to amaze me. Arsene Wenger praised Warnock for his attacking play and his admiration for QPR last season, yet you seem to disagree with his appraisal??
