    After listening to Kinnear's interview on talksport I need to immediately apologise for creating this thread.

    His blatant lies are madness and I now realise in no way is even a mediocre appointment, it's and utter, utter catastrophe.

    Joe Kinnear is a washed-up idiot with a staggering ego.

    This is going to be a total disaster.

    If everybody involved at the club, in positions of authority, had enough sense to just knuckle-down to the job, then we might stand a chance of improving.

    I think it's quite clear that things will improve, once the benefit of less fixtures figures into the players fitness levels... both mental and physical.

    Between Ashley, Llambias, Kinnear & Pardew, you've probably got one of the worst personality cocktails in social history.

    None of it makes any sense and i'm really starting to feel that i've made exactly the right decision in moving away from it all... it's often too upsetting to tolerate.

    I love Newcastle United, but to have to squirm as often as I do simply because of the irrational behaviour of a fat, greedy ego-maniac, turns my stomach.

    Meh.

    The fact is he has more intelligence than most of the fans. It must be a fact because Joe said so. JK in charge before Xmas! Good because he has been manager of the year 24 times.

    For me, Mike Ashley is the new Ken Bates, fcuking about with a great club for his own pleasure is a bit silly, and I hope for Toon fans he sells up soon and goes and buys a London club where he belongs.

    After hearing bits of his interview on Talk Sport, I'm convinced Joe Kinnear is ill, seriously. Apart from anything else, I think it is terribly irresponsible of MA to appoint JFK, if only for the sake of his health.

    I would have respected Pardew if he'd walked, but that doesn't seem likely.

    Phew!

    I've tried to make it more obvious, but my timing and delivery was clearly poor.

    Anyway, best of luck for the season. I know you probably all feel like your club is in disarray, especially if you agree with Shearer's comments, but you've got a strong squad and should be easily mid-table. I think it will be easier to stay up this season anyway, even if there is some fallout for you.

    As a man of honesty, integrity, humilty and more than a smattering of footballing nous, I think you'll find that Mr Kinnear is exactly what's needed at the club, however if he dares to upset St Alan then I for one will not be held responsible for my actions.
