Sorry G, I know you do. I just get grumpy everytime he opens his mouth. Was quite sympathetic at first but tgat has eroded. Think I'm just going to let it drop and hope it gets sorted quickly. It's not like he gives a feck if I'm angry or not lol.... I know the club is forcing him to submit a transfer request so they can screw Real for all he's worth. Just have to be patient.
Well he did bang in the winner for Spains first Euro win and he played a large part in their World Cup win too, not to mention his golden boot contribution in Euro 2012 - think it will live long in their nations memory if I'm honest (as it should). Comments like this makes it look like we are all incredibly bitter
My mind set on Suarez as changed as well.. In normal circumstances I'd have been chuffed with his goal yesterday, would have said "Suarez, great goal by a great Liverpool player..." however, after his goal yesterday, I thought "Well that should increase the amount of money we get for him" Thank you for you goals/assists Luis However, no thanks for the dirt you help spread over our good name. Now be a good boy, hand in a transfer request and good luck in Madrid! Don't hate the player, just don't Love him anymore!
I don't even think of him as our player any more. Even if he stays, he won't be "our" player. Another excellent goal from him, though.
I would only wish him the best if he went but still (probably naively) see him as our player, whatever that means. Same with Torres really, set aside all of the affection and attachment we had for him he choose to move on. He did sign a new contract a year earlier, at a time where the club was in turmoil but signed anyway probably even though he felt there was a good chance given the instability at the time that he would want away. What his signature gave us was 50 million to spend as we please. not sure how much he had left on his contract at the time but if it was only a year or so we would have been in a crap bargaining position and maybe got 20. Same with Suarez, signs a new deal with a very inexperienced new manager at the helm but wanting to be part of it. Gets untold stick by a racist and xenophobic country and press and doesn't get champions league, gets excessively banned for his own stupidity reaffirming in his own head that he is never going to be given credit as the new messiah, just a very naughty boy, and wants to bail. He signed a contract with no buyout (as far as I have heard) and will now get us a few quid. Yes he was supported through thick and thin but that's what we do, I would have still supported him even if he had announced I will be leaving in 18 months time, because it was right to counter the excesses of the Mc'Nulty's of this world. If he does go we need to buy well and will become a club with less controversy and maybe that will prove pivotal in Rodgers being able to work through his ideas unhindered. If he stays he should of learnt his lesson and no club ever wants top talent to leave, but he would bring us a few bob.
No worries Like you, I just want it sorted now. I've accepted that he will be leaving so just a matter of a certain tight arsed club coughing up which they won't until August at least!
Quick question from a Manc, there are lots of articles and quotes saying Suarez want`s Madrid but is there any evidence Madrid want Suarez? not wumming honest, but if you treat it as such i will understand given where my loyalties lie, i really haven`t read anything from the Madrid side.
Nothing concreted dont think. They'd be mad not to try and wind him up further and put in a paltry bid of 30mil
I've thought exactly the same mate. Their priorities seem to be Bale and Cavani. Also wouldn't be surprised if the 6 game ban is putting them off, that's if the ban still remains if he moves to a different league.
http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...ntino-perez-admits-real-madrid-would-luis-sua Got to say though, I think your post does sort of have a point. They aren't as keen on him as they are Bale, so I don't understand why he's so desperate to go there when he's seen what happened to the likes of Benzema, Owen, Van der Vaart, Sneijder, Robben & others in the past.
Has Suarez ever been injured? When we sold torres, it was known and understood he was suffering from ever-increasing injury problems. I can't remember Suarez ever being injured with us, even little niggly strains or pulls. Maybe all that time out banned is good for a player - less miles on the clock = better book price. I love the guy and wish him all the best in the future, and I'm still hoping he doesn't go to madrid after Owen and Mcmanaman, but wherever he ends up £50m is the starting price, and we don't need to sell even if he does get arsey.
