Right then, tonight, footballing giants Tahiti take on Nigeria.

Anyone else expecting a hammering, even though it is Nigeria?

Also, Odemwingie is doing the punditry for MOTD - wonder if Dan Walker can get something out of him?

I still expect Nigeria to score a few. Maybe a 4-0.

Not really. I was saying I don't think he's in the same bracket as Messi, Ronaldo and Bale, I still think he is CURRENTLY one of the 10 best attackers in world football. I'd probably say Messi, Ronaldo, Bale, Falcao, RVP, Ibra, Suarez, Lewandowski, Rooney & Neymar, although I've probably made some glaring omission as I did that off the top of my head.

Was anyone else slightly perturbed by the way killer was staring at the camera?

If you are including Bale, then Robben, Ribery, Reus of the top of my head would also be above Neymar.

    Mata and Hazard as well.

I included Bale on the basis that he moved central so often last season and seems to be gradually converting to that kind of role, whereas Robben and Ribery are more typical wide men and Reus more an attacking midfielder, I also don't think Robben or Ribery are as good as Neymar.

Seeing that proves you will never change your opinion, so I'm not going to continue this argument.

Neymar is not top 10 yet, he probably will be depending on how he does at Barca.

Oh, and if you think Reus is an attacking mid, you are seriously wrong. He plays just behind Lewandowski. Gotze is the attacking mid.

    1-0 Nigeria

Huge deflections. Keeper maybe could've done better.

    2-0 Nigeria

This is already looking pretty bad.

Spain playing them might be worth watching...

Haha, would hardly call this an argument, more a friendly discussion...

People seem quick to dismiss Neymar on the basis that they've watched him 3/4 times and he wasn't brilliant in them all, which seems rather stupid. He's regarded as Brasil's best player, and Barcelona paid £50 million for him, those 2 factors should tell you the lads pretty special.

Okay, and attacking mid/number 10 role that so many players play these days, it is still attacking midfield really.

He's not alone, pretty much every major reference site describes Reus as an attacking midfielder.

I'm not saying he isn't special - I just disagree that he is in the top 10 attackers at this moment in time, that's all.

Him and Gotze swapped positions regularly during games between the attacking mid and second striker role.

So he does play attacking midfield and Rosie wasn't 'seriously wrong' then...

I suppose 'seriously wrong' was a bit of an exaggeration. Though he usually starts as the second striker.

But he should still be considered if he picks players like Bale.
