It's pretty obvious that Mignolet will go to Liverpool... he's been told of our secret agreements to sign Iniesta, Cavani and Reus <doh>

Next year is our year! <diva>

EDIT: On a serious note, for the vultures descending on the corpse of our club...

How are we ever going to get back into the big time unless we make bold, ambitious moves for players who are of CL quality?

Are Inter Milan bothered? No, they replaced Coutinho with Kovacic. We need to do similar.

Thats full of ****.

It doesn't take into consideration the influence he has on games, what he does for team morale just by being on the team sheet. You would have been bottom half without him.

Liverpool fans are a set of usedtobe tossers who still think they are the club of the 70's and 80's.

They are a **** all club these days and a chance for points every season. I look forward to playing a Liverpool team minus Haniball Suarez next season.

****ing thieving, dole loving ****s.

That's a cock sure attitude isn't it? What's stopping other clubs matching your bid once it's accepted? Hope and pray Arsenal Gazump you. <ok>

Start of a u-turn?

EXCLUSIVE: Simon Mignolet’s agent unaware of any Liverpool interest
Simon Mignolet’s agent insists that he is unaware of any offers for the Sunderland goalkeeper from Liverpool or any other club.

Simon Mignolet kept 11 clean sheets for Sunderland last season
Simon Mignolet’s agent insists that he is unaware of any bids for the Sunderland goalkeeper from Liverpool or any other Premier League club.

The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a £10m switch to Liverpool in recent days, with the Reds thought to be closing in on a deal for the shot-stopper.
Mignolet was one of Sunderland’s standout performers in a difficult season at the Stadium of Light as the 25-year-old’s performances helped keep the Black Cats in the Premier League.
However, Kristof Vandersmissen says Sunderland have not informed him of any interest from Liverpool or any other English club – and insists that his client would be happy to stay at the Stadium of Light if an offer failed to materialise.
“Simon played terrific last season. He’s won points for Sunderland. It’s normal that clubs are interested in him,” Vandersmissen told The Sport Review.
“But he still has a contract with Sunderland for two years. If there is some interest from clubs, then the interest has to be concrete – and it can only be concrete if the club makes a bid and Sunderland agree with the bid.
“We are waiting on clubs who are really going for Simon to make a bid. But at this moment, we are not aware of potential clubs who are already in talks with Sunderland.”
He added: “We have to wait until Sunderland give the go-ahead [before speaking to any clubs] if a club has an agreement with them on the eventual transfer fee.
“We have to wait on that signal. If there is no signal in the coming days and weeks, Simon will return to training with Sunderland at the time that he has to be there.”
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been linked with a move for Mignolet amid continuing uncertainty surrounding Pepe Reina’s future at the Merseyside outfit.
The Sunderland goalkeeper, who kept 11 clean sheets in 40 appearances last term, arrived at the Black Cats in a £2m deal from Belgian outfit St Truiden in June 2010.
Mignolet managed to dislodge Craig Gordon and become Sunderland’s first-choice goalkeeper, and Vandersmissen insisted his client wouldn’t be fazed by competition for the number one spot at a club such as Liverpool.
“Goalkeepers only have one position on the field. If you go to a club, you always have competition with the other two goalkeepers,” he said.
“When Simon came over to Sunderland, it was obvious at that time that Craig Gordon was in front of him.
“But by working hard, you never know what can happen. He has already proven that he is doing well in the Premier League.
“If you go to a club that is higher in the rankings then there is a lot of good goalkeepers, so you have to go into competition with them.”
Vandersmissen also insisted the shot-stopper would be happy to continue his good relationship Sunderland and their fans.
“Simon was always happy at Sunderland. He loves the supporters,” he continued.
“He’s glad that the club gave him the chance to come over to England and he did terrifically.
“In the last game against Tottenham, the supporters were loving him. “He gives everything he can for the club. Sunderland is the club that gave him the opportunity and he took the opportunity.”

16. Nor does it take into account that if we didn't have Suarez then there would be another player on the pitch instead <doh>

We can't drag this out or we lose Westie.

We need a resolution with no conjecture ASAP.

Of a vastly inferior standard, of course.

Win ratio with/without Luis is what you need to look at, I ain't hunting for it, as I couldn't give 2 ****s.

20. Suarez is a top quality player but we have a very good win rate (may even be better than with him) in games that Luis is missing <ok>
