Seeing as we're out of season I was just wondering what else everybody watches when there's no football on.

Be good to know so we all know who we can talk to about other sports. I know Valley likes his boxing and we had a chat when then Froch v Kessler fight was on as did Mikra, Neveroff and Swim to name a few.

Talking of Swim, he likes his rugby and in case you don't know he's done a thread about the Lions over at the International rugby forum. It's pretty good too to be fair which as you all know is very surprising for him :D

The Ashes is starting on 10th of July but will anyone here be watching or supporting England ? I suppose it's a given that Mabon will be glued to the box wearing an Aussie jersey and a hat with corks on but what about the rest of you.

So come on tell all so we can have a chat about summer sports too. With Wimbledon around the corner how many of you will be watching Kournikova ?

Personally, I'll watch all the above :D especially Kournikova

Don't really watch anything apart from football, but did enjoy the Olympics last year. So athletics would be my favourite I guess, followed by formula 1 . Can't abide cricket , tennis will probably only watch the semis and final.

My family takes the slack of going to watch football, but yesterday I took the car for new tyres and service, then went shopping , that took up most of my day, later on took the kids up to visit Mamgu and had food there. All in all a busy day.

Well I do like F1, bit of a petrol head. Golf is another of my past times, don't get to play so much these days as I'm always ferrying my boy to Football training or games.

I do enjoy watching swimming, being as this is the my field of work, been to many a World Championship I do recommend going to watch it's really good, and it does have some benefits.

Last time I went there was by helicopter ;) went to the first Malaysian Grand Prix in 1999, and had pit passes as my mate's brother was a mechanic for Jordan back then. Brilliant place to visit despite everything up the road ;)

Boxing, rugby, Formula 1, golf majors and cricket before Sky stole it from the public domain. Never watch cricket now and have lost all interest. Thank you Sky.

    INTERESTING OBSERVATION

1 The sport of choice for the urban poor is FOOTBALL.

2 The sport of choice for maintenance level employees is BASKETBALL.

3 The sport of choice for front-line workers is RUGBY ..

4 The sport of choice for supervisors is CRICKET.

5 The sport of choice for middle management is TENNIS.

    And....

6 The sport of choice for corporate executives and officers is GOLF.

    THE AMAZING CONCLUSION:

The higher you go in the corporate structure, the smaller your balls become.

There must be a ton of people in politics playing...........

    MARBLES!

Boxing, UFC, handball (hugely underrated sport, there is a swansea handball club now as well), occasional rugby match, golf

Nothing comes close to my football though!

Its probably easier to list the sports I dont like and to be fair, I cannot think of any!

With a little bit of patience and appreciation to the skill/culture, I have found myself enjoying everything from curling to kabaddi and from sumo to sailing :) The desire for man to improve himself and overcome is a powerful thing and ecapsulated in all sports.

I love a bit of MotoGP. I ride a motorbike. (Which I fell off of 2 weeks ago and broke a collarbone).

I used to watch F1, but it all got a bit too complicated to enjoy. DRS zones and 1.8s follow gaps and tyre changes and fuel loads, PAU!
