I wasn't meaning keep Bullard and Oli instead of anyone else.

If we end up stuck with them (e.g. no one offers them a contract elsewhere), we're still the ones having to pay their wages. So whether we play them or not, with them on the wage bill we wont have as much room to manoeuvre in the transfer market anyway.

If the only decent offer we get for Jimmy is a loan with around half his wages paid, then I suspect we'll take it.

I'm aware of what Assem has said, but we know he likes a bit of posturing and though I'm certain that he would prefer not to fund the wages of a player at another club, it is what he'll do if the management decide it's what's best for the club.

He wants out and we want him out, so one way or another, a deal will be done somewhere.

As for Oli, I'm sure he could do a job for us next season, but he's never a Premier League player, he's on far too much money and if we can get him off the books, then we definitely should.

When Evans has been able to get forward, he's looked dangerous, unfortunately, he has to cover for Harper most of the time.

Given the right players around him, I think he'll turn out to be a great signing.

You know theres a young 18 year old at the blunts called Jordan Slew, ok he is still raw and has'nt played many games yet but he is a real prospect.
Now he has raised a lot of interest from clubs and could possibly be the breakout starlet next season, he has been offered a thousand quid a week and 500 quid a goal and he has turned it down.
Now we could take a gamble on him and double that offer and still afford 20 more just like him that gives you some perspective on the vast wad of cash we are peeing away on Jimmy Bullard!
Ok some of them might not work out but we can sell them again and make our money back, I think Slew would be a great buy and Fulham are interested too!
The point I'm trying to make here is 45K a week is simply unaffordable in our division and it's like an anchor dragging the club back!
Do you see any other clubs rushing in for him? Of course not they all say thats way too much money for a player with his injury record. Jimmy is worth about 10 to 15 k at this stage of his career with his knees.
As much as some of like Jimmy Bullard this club can never progress until we get this albatross from round our neck, bad bad signing from Duffen and Brownie and it was their downfall
