    Why dont you actually think about what you put instead of quoting **** websites? Do you REALLY think Bruce would want him after what happened at Sunlan? And it's all covered in the transfer links - MERGE.

    He left Sunderland to go to Villa purely for big money, can hardly see him now leaving Villa to come to us for less money.
    The man is a mercenary who Steve Bruce wouldn't touch with a barge pole after his dealing with him at Sunderland.

    Not the type of player we need near our club.

    The media seem to think because Newcastle are unwilling to meet the asking price of 6 mill, or Bent's wage of 70k a week, then City are going to step in.

    Whoever started that story needs certifying, it only needs reporting once, then the others follow.

    He'll go to Newcastle, I think we'll get Austin + plus one other.
