    They were already relegated come our game with Cardiff. And he had already decided to leave Wigan on a free as well.

    I think you're reading too much into it bums chins.

    Funny how I said a left back is the first thing we need to sign and got shot down for it. Appears Brucey thought the same thing.

    Great first signing to kick off the business, hopefully this one doesnt raise expectations too high for the rest, but I reckon this is the standard our Bruce will have set.

    I was wrong, they were relegated the weekend after we went up - I didn't realise it has been that long since the Cardiff game!

    Still, he was looking for a new club, and we just got promoted with his former manager.

    Not really, it's not like he's put all other business on hold in order to complete this signing. If he could have had two top strikers and a 'keeper signed by now I'm sure he would have done. This is just the first signing we've been able to complete.
