Pardew's in essence been demoted, right? He's now 1st team coach. He doesn't even get to talk about players, that's what Carr and Kinnear are for.

It's essentially a big fck you to Pardew. He stood there and pointed - rightfully - a finger of blame at the owner about transfers, so the owner has said "right, I hear you - you don't like how I do transfer business? Fine - I'll employ someone who will take that "headache" away from you, make your life easier which will improve results, or am I missing something, Alan?"

I cant believe they decided to make him DoF and not taken the fans furious reaction into account! However there was a similar reaction over Pardews appointment, and that worked out.......up to a point!

 

Pardew and Joke in Ear couldn't make a half decent manager between them.

Is it possible JFK retired from his contract back in 2009 under the condition that they'd give him some job in future i.e. avoiding a payoff?

Maybe JFK won't do jack and he's just picking up a paycheck?

What could he possibly know about modern day football and good players these days? He's been out of the game too long and he only ever used british isles players no?

Bizarre, but there has to be some reason for this.

His latest soundbyte is a little more credible, essentially saying that the club was crap on the playing side last season and he'll be the one to find out why. He says that blame was put on injuries, but he's intent on getting to the bottom of it. What I do find interesting is he has said this stuff and it was refreshing to finally here an employee of NUFC just keep it simple - there were injuries, too many, we need to find out why. I tried to think why it was refreshing - and it's because Pardew never said it. Pardew would do plenty of blaming - luck, for example - but not a lot of "let's see what's going wrong". Even after the season, Pardew never came out and just said "it was unacceptable" because many of us believed he was part of that problem.

Regardless, the best comment from Twitter on it was "if Joe Kinnear is the answer, the someone's asking some pretty stupid questions".

 

Does anyone even know if he has been hired ?

There's no mention of it on the club website. So far, the only person who claims he has been hired is Kinnear. Who is an idiot.

 

SportsDirect news has an "exclusive" that he's ready to bring in Darren Bent. I'm going to pay a hypnotherapist to make me hate football so I don't have to go through this sh!t anymore.

 

Looks lke there's going to be quite a few empty seats if he is hired.

Now I'm not one to brag as you all well know and indeed take all matters raised on this forum with a great deal of thought and integrity whilst maintaining a level of equilibrium which allows quintessentially, forthright debate, however I didn't get where I am without being blessed with the abilty to think outside the box.

Mike Ashley is a very astute business man and certainly knows his way round a pound coin, I therefore think the appointment of Kinnear is a financial masterstroke and has nothing to do with the buying or selling of players and certainly not with tactics. The re-introduction of the swear box in Kinnear's office coupled with the installing of 52,000 said swear boxes in every seat inside SJP will create an income stream which the likes of Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid can only dream about.

The very thought of the the Newcastle United Profanity Account swelling by the second as Kinnear is introduced to the crowd at the first home game coupled with tirade of f*cks, c*nts, bastards and wan*ers at the level of sh*te which will be on display for the rest of the season certainly wets my economic juices.

What does JFK know about being a DoF? Sweet FA...... and considering he will the face of the club during transfer negotiations i am worried!

Have the club actually confirmed this btw? All i have seen in JFK saying it has been done....... (I'm still hanging onto any hope that this may all be JFK being dilluded!)
