... That we will be left with a few apathetic mercenaries on our payroll come the new season. Who will still be here come August? Answers ( guesses ) on a postcard please. I'll take a random guess that Boswinga stays. I reckon Barton & cisse will be shipped out regardless of the cost to us.
Think you could be very right on that mate. I reckon SWP, Zamo & Bos will still be here (there) as well !
I hope we keep them all and Harold builds a team out of them and does his job ... Also it would help if fans at LR lay off them all and get behind whatever team puts on the new hoops We start winning matches then the fickle will love Bosingwa Park and the others Everyone has had their moans time to build a team and I doubt very much most won't care who is playing as long as we win and keep winning Harold couldn't have done anymore damage to these players he needs to start earning his wages
I think most of those on the big wages will be more than capable of do a job in the Championship if they have to and it may turn out to be a cloud with a silver lining if they have to stay. This is not universally true however: Barton - really don't want this thug back at my club at any price. Bosingwa - he had a bad attitude at the bottom of the PL, God only knows how he would behave if asked to play at Bournemouth. Zamora - at full fitness he will be a hero next season but more likely he'll be crocked again. SWP - he's going to be our secret weapon. Ideally suited for the cut and thrust of the lower leagues and has a good attitude. Remy - please God that he looks like being guilty until the day after the transfer window closes. Taraabt - going nowhere. HR needs to make the most of him. Cesar - Arsenal will regret buying him. Traore - he will be a star in the Championship. Samba - if anyone bothers looking at the videos we will not be able to get shot. Will do okay in the Championship. Mbia - gone back to France. Toilett - gone to one of the promoted clubs. Bothroyd - he wouldn't cut it in League 1. Onhuoha - will blossom next season. Jenas - a mistake by HR IMO. Green - may be the reason why we don't get promoted sadly. Park - who? Granero - who? Johnson - we will be singing his name.
That is an interesting day dream. I must confess to having a smiliar thought. What would happen if relegation actually unified enough of a core team who came back next season determined to put right the wrongs of the past? Apathy replaced with passion. Rudeness replaced with respect. Petulance replaced with maturity and, above all, individuality replaced by the team taking precedence in all respects. Out of the starting blocks with a thumping win over whoever they throw at us and then back to winning ways for the rest of the season! Blast! I'm having all the bad effects of hallucingenic drugs without ever having taken one in my life!!
