Don't you think his horse would make a better manager than Joke Kinnear?

That's an insult to horses and I'm going to report you to the RSPCA.

The fact is he is a fat useless **** and we don't want him here. Its more of 'Jobs for the boys' mentality which is slowly killing us. Next season will reek of rancid tampons, mark my words....

The worst option for me during the close season was for the club to do nothing, and let Pardew keep up the good work to get us over the line next season.

At least we don't have that. JFK is not going to watch a match, and tell Pardew that Gutierrez was brilliant in helping us to keep the score down to only semi-embarrassing numbers ...

So I expect to see Pardew less inclined to get away with his head in the sand nonsense about we outplayed everything apart from the scoreline ...

If there's more pressure on Pardew to look up and see how his team are just not performing then good. If JFK goes on sky and tells the world that Pardew's team look like an outstanding example of relegation fodder then fine.

Maybe this joke will backfire and Ashley may be shown as an owner thinking way outside the box.

    We'll see.

Agree. Let's see how it goes. Might be for the good (so long as he doesn't end up as team manager).

I find the continued absence of any source other than Kinnear, and especially the club website, very odd.

I'm not sure I'd go so far as to obtain encouragement from it but it's odd.

It's remarkably weird. I mean, there's not one aspect of this makes any sense. NUFC.co.uk is still updating - there's a new article this morning about Cisse/Bigi/Colo playing Intl matches.

Don't really see how JFK being anywhere near the team can be for the good.

The average fan knows more about football than this pair do between them.

More of a question of after last season it can't really get any worse, so maybe it could turn out alright as it's better to change something rather than nothing at all. Also if MA has JK and AP both telling him we need more players/better quality it'll be harder for him to ignore rather than it just being Pardew telling him we're short of players.

Just saying if by this time next week we've brought in PEA, Bony, Douglas and a CM people would soon quickly be changing their mind and saying Kinnear gets players over the line quickly. I genuinely think this has to be a case of "wait and see" before judging.

Things had been quiet... too quiet.

Shock news on Sunday afternoon that Joe Kinnear has returned to Newcastle as Director of F*******.

That F-word is apparently Football but for most of us it was the other F-word that sprung to mind as the news broke that the foul-mouthed one had returned to Barrack Road.

Quite what Alan Pardew makes of all this isn't yet known but at least Kinnear has only been given a three-year deal, not the eight dished out to everyone else last year....

The relationship with the much heralded Graham Carr is going to be an interesting one - Kinnear already claiming some of the roles that Carr has recently undertaken, working directly with Mike Ashley.

Was Carr, Pardew and his staff consulted at all? If not, the club risk a re-run of the Kevin Keegan/Dennis Wise farce that proved so catastrophic.

Already Kinnear has managed to forget his boss' name - it's Derek Llambias, Joe, not Dave, David, or Larry the Lamb.

We wonder which of our recent acquisitions will follow Charles Insomnia N'Zogbia out of the door after Joe gets his name spectacularly wrong.

    Suggestions on a postcard....

We have our own thoughts on Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa but good taste prevents us from sharing that one with you.

Do you think JFK will be able to get his tongue around that one?

    Got the above from NFC.com

Pretty much all we can do now. From his days as Luton Town manager he had the team playing really good pass and move football, not dire long ball stuff and signed some really good players. One that springs to mind was Jean-Louis Valois. Kinnear somehow managed to convince Valois to swap Lille for then League Two Luton. Valois was far too good for the league and showed loads of skill and flair - rifling in 30 yarders like Luton's answer to Laurent Robert. I'm distinctly unamused by these latest Ashley shenanigans, but I clutch at that Valois signing and Luton side for some hope that Kinnear can indeed spot a player and is not limited to ugly route one football.

Read this earlier from a Wimbledon fans perspective, probably the only positive angle I've seen regarding the whole thing: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1675629-newcastle-joe-kinnear-might-be-exactly-what-the-toon-need

Valois was a quality player. My brother is a Luton fan funnily enough. Valois scored one of the best goals I have ever seen for Luton. 30 yard screamer.

Vehemently disagree. This is the time for judging harshly so we can claim to be know-it-all gods when the inevitable occurs... What in my name is wrong with you? Don't you want to be a know-it-all god?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Worst case scenario, we hope everyone gets too sucked into the euphoria not to note our earlier heretic tendencies... <whistle>
