Kinnear Coming Home...

Kinnear is a total embarrassment to football.
His appointment is a total joke.
It's almost as if Ashley is trying to piss us all off on purpose.

To the Mackems, luckily Kinnear will not actually manage the club so should be nowhere near the first team.
He will have the final say on transfers which is worrying, but right now Llambias has that final say which has been even more worrying for me for a bit (although it should still be Carr who finds them).

As ever we will see where we both end up at the end of next season as an unproven PDC, coupled with a raft of unknown players may present it's own problems for the lads down the road.....

Time will tell.

I kind of like the idea tbh, i can see the business sense of the plan moving derek llambias to the just the financial side of the club. Atleast Kinnear has the passion of english football. Im hoping to see some english signings & better style of play under kinnear. Surely its going to be better with another set of eyes on the players other then just pardew.

I welcome the move. End of the day its about getting back into the top 10 & pardew needs help then give it him, its not about who you like and dislike. Atleast they are making changes rather then doing nothing.

 

Least he don't hold back! Might be of some use when he sees shola and jonas playing!!

Did you see his phone call transcript? Couldn't remember the name "Derek". Referred to "David", then "Dave", before erm'ing his way to "Mike". But, as I said, Derek won't be offended - they are well aware of what a total fcking ar$ehead he is, that's why he's here. Hence the comments about Geordie's needing Geordie's to work at the club, and it was that which went against him. Not the fact he's a thick-as-sh"t raging alcoholic who hadn't been involved in football for 7 years. Nothing to do with the fact he was a loud-mouthed, insensitive, insensible gimp with all the tact and grace of a rabid alsation on heat.

 

We can't change MA's decision.
Like anything we need to get behind the team and hope we make the right signings.
People can get down, angry, take the piss... Whatever, it will all be forgotten if we get off to a better start than last year.

The only saving grace is that Carr will select the targets and hopefully JK's interference will only stretch to rubber stamping.

This is certainly a head scratcher! If you'd have said to me this morning that Kinnear will return as director of football I would have laughed in your face! I wonder what the odds were!!!!

 

he may, just may have a positive affect. might be key to getting more home grown players in. chances are he won't but ill reserve judgement for now

 

You'll not get that though mate.
Whoever is in charge NUFC is in our blood and no matter what I'll be there cheering on the 11 lads in black and white.

 

But Ashley knows it and it makes you (not specifically, I'm not getting personal) look like a fool. It contributes to the laughing stock tag of this club, it doesn't sway us away from it.

I'm just saying that I, for one, can't be bothered to be laughed at anymore. It's just not worth it. I won't be alone. There may not be 50,000 turning away, but I'll give it 6 sh!t results before the tide turns. This will end badly.
