Can anybody direct me to the site someone posted somewhere about us playing in blue many years ago, someone said on there about blue being our civic hall colour?? Was it also to do with us having a big paint factory somewhere?
I've always thought the same, though it'd have to be a bit of a tedious link to do it, otherwise we'd be waiting until 2029 for our 125th anniversary. I was hoping the club would have used the tedious link of '10 years at the KC' to do a commemorative kit. Any other tedious links? 110 year anniversary next year - I've seen clubs use that as a tedious link to make a money-spinner 'third kit'. Or maybe 2017 if Hull wins City of Culture? Would tie in quite well.
Plenty of clubs mark 110 years. Doubt we will though next year. We had a half-decent attempt under AP in 2004, given our third tier status. The present owners of the club do not seem to regard our history, heritage, past etc as being in any way significant or important, unfortunately.
