When is the squad due back for training? Got to believe GZ will have a pretty full deck of cards from the off this season though I can see it being left late to announce who's in, the less time you give the opposition to plan but optimising your own training is good policy, its nervy times though... faith....
I would expect them to have another 2 weeks off before being asked to report back to UCL for pre-season. Also by then we would know any pre-season plans and the seasons fixtures. Most are away on holiday atm, enjoying themselves if the pictures are anything to go by.
I liked the one of Lloyd that he posted on Twitter - in his words "Toppin Up on my Tan, with my little people"
Grey and showery here this morning...typical weather for our village fete. Still, better than last year when there was an absolute deluge.
I am trying to write my half of a book chapter for another book today..... so cold inside the house. Our house is built on what was once marshland and in the cold and damp it is very cold and damp.... Of course when you buy a house you don't check these things out.. even when the name of the area is old English for marsh
Exhausted.... as have also been coaching my daughter through her psychology A level revision from 9.00 - 7.45 today...... LAST exam...Monday.. phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Awful weekend as far as weather is concerned. It has rained solid for 2 days and the temp hasn't gone above 8 C today. Added to that we think little Miss NZ has got chickenpox. She has developed some suspicious spots overnight. It isgoing around at her brother's school at the moment.
Good morning one and all from a warm, overcast but dry Weston-super-Mare! Please stay dry till my line of washing is dry!
Morning all from a brightening bandit country. Lashed it down yesterday as I got about a quarter of the patio jet washed - but managed to get the back of the house and round one side finished after it stopped and will have to finish it off next week-end. When will the summer start? Mrs W_Y keeps nagging me to put the heating back on! Still it's Father's Day, so expecting to be waited on - yeah, I can see that happening!
Morning all from a bright and sunny rural France. Top temp. today is forecast to be around 30C°. Day off labours as it is my monthly trip out to have dinner with friends. Our normal eating place is gone, the owners have moved south alongside the canal du midi, so we have to try out somewhere new. Hope it is up to scratch.
