Not the end off the transfer window yet is it?

 

The transfer fee has been confirmed by Lyon as 10,000,000 Euro's that will rise with appearances. Isn't that a bit much?

 

You really think we're going to sign astori, having spent 8.5m on lovren? Where would that leave Maya? And Forren?

 

We'll need four CBs, and that could end being Lovren/Astori/Forren/Maya. That is, unless we opt to go for a back three, in which case we'll need five or six.

 

Seems a bit pricey, but then again, I've never seen him play.

Can see one of Hooiveld/Fonte leaving this summer though .... can't see us having 5 CBs

 

Bloody hell the one time I am away from a computer today and I miss our first signing of the summer! Typical. Good signing though.

 

Seems like a very good signing, surprised to see when i came back from work just. A lot of money, but he is still young and will get better i'm sure. Look forward to seeing him play

Exactly anything can happen.

 

Of course my internet goes out for about 3 hours and we make our first signing!

 

I think we will sell one but but don't think we will sell both Jos and Fonte. Unless of course we want 5 CB's which mean one would go and we could still get Astori.

Just seen his full interview on Player. His English is excellent. He came over as very excited. His face lit up when he talked about meeting his new team mates. He described himself as an aggressive but positive player...wants to play, not break anyone's legs. That's a relief.

 

Somewhat cautiously, but anyway, welcome Saint Lovren!

 

I know the feeling

 

I was told this evening that we were nearly there and the player was over here. Source told me Dejan was being wined and dined and that by Monday the paperwork should be fully ratified.

 

Lovren was this player all along.

 

Lets hope he becomes a fans favourite like the first Croatian (Yugoslavia then) to grace our football team.

Ivan Golac...one of my all time favourites in a great era for Saints.
