    This is probably a comment because of what Pardew said about Scottish football a while back. He said something like the Scottish league was of a much poorer standard compared to the EPL.

    Doesn't bother me though. He's a nobody. I think his international scoring record with Croatia is a fairer reflection of how he performs when he's facing sides with much better quality players.

    Probably all down to Pardew's comments about the SPL.

    Which of course were bang on.

    It's ****e.

    Years ago it was good, but anyone who can't see the drop in quality in Scotland is deluding themselves.

    So Jelavic wouldn't want to play for us because Pardew told the truth about how crap Scottish football is. So he is unrealistic about the league he plays in as well his own ability (thinks he can play for Man U).

    If that is the level of his reasoning ability we should take it as a compliment that he doesn't want to play for us. He doesn't know **** from shinola.

    Fact is SPL players don't cut it at PL level, not even in the Championship. The SPL is the most overrated premier division in the world...

    To be fair to Jelavic, he's a very good striker playing in a very average league. If he came to the PL he wouldn't score as many as he would in the SPL(23 apps 16 goals) & why would United want him when they've got 4 better strikers than him? Rooney, Hernandez, Berbatov & even Welbeck(proven at this level). He's seriously deluded if he thinks United would want him & I'll even be more surprised if he was actually a United target. He'll be good for a team like Stoke, Blackburn or West Brom but not cut enough for the big boys and after that comment I wouldn't want him here either. <ok>
