It sounds like you have assumed they are from Cardiff? Which is why you mention the good work our fans have done the past 2 years.

Sorry,Project, but I cannot see any connection between this story and "the good work our fans did over the last two years".

Presumably you have come to the conclusion that the offenders were Cardiff City fans. The article doesn't make that connection.

There is a connection, South Wales Evening Post wouldn't publish this if it didn't involve people from our region. Additionally it is very safe to assume they are from the Cardiff catchment as they were intoxicated and travelling from Cardiff to Bridgend suggesting they reside in one of the two.

Additionally the snide remarks about this not being football related is invalid, I do not recognise such ridiculous rules being made up by those who have no more authority here than guests without a login ID. The whole "this is not football related debate" needs to stop because it is pathetic, people will post about topics involving Swansea Bay and the people within it as as well the media that serves it so you'll have to get used to it.

I stayed out of the childish bickering on here because I was not brought into it, but now I have I will not accept powerless folks trying to lecture me nor try to tell me how and what I should post, that authority belongs to a mod and a mod alone and I will only recognise their instructions as having any authority on the matter.

Sorry,Project, but I still don't buy your "connection". You are free to make it,of course, but you cannot prove it based on the article.

If you are looking for dirt on Cardiff fans' then this is a poor attempt.

I'm not looking for a fight, just giving an opinion. Hope that's still O.K. here.

Why do you think your comments matter to me on this subject? You need to relax son, whether you like it or not we will not agree on this so debate is mute. We can only say our own opinions and nothing more can be added of any value.

The point that Project is making that pricks like this will make it very unpleasant for traveling away fans who will be coming to Swansea and Cardiff to watch football on public transport, and could lead to a negative impact on Welsh football fans in the media.

You have tried to make this a football related matter, but it has nothing to do with it. They were in golf gear, its akin to the press putting a football angle on the fight up in the races last year!

And I was just pointing out what has this got to do with football? Something that has been said already by somebody else. I don't do snide ! I do blunt comments that cut through the crap

And where does it say they were football fans ? Perhaps the next thing is because somebody got arrested down in wind street , that will have a negative impact of the area by football fans from Newcastle who witnessed it.

Base things in reality, this kind of thing happens unfortunately all over the uk at times, its not all football fans doing it.

Okay well first of all, the horse racing was football related so there was no slant on that. Assholes from both fansets were involved. Second, blunt is only your opinion and as for your second comment... out of order! But it is not my place to do anything about that, I can only remind you that your reaction was ridiculous and vicious to say the least. Hence why I originally stayed out of the childish bickering that has been going on here lately, if I get more responses like yours I see no point in even participating because I would only expect that sort of thing from Aberdude after he warned me in PM he was Soulcrew! Getting abuse on my own clubs section as well? Screw that for a laugh.

Where have I personally abused you ? You started this by saying my original comment was snide, I'm sorry but you are the one insinuating that this is football related. Funny that not even the Post is saying it is, yet you are!

You want to make disparaging remarks then live with the comments back, which by the way is not aimed at you personally, though calling someone snide most certainly is!

So then why instead of answering what it is your on about, you respond to those you say have done so in bad taste.

I wasn't nasty, I wasn't blunt, I assumed you were on about Cardiff fans, included a question mark in hope you would answer, and you don't even explain. Leaving us all again, like the Norway post, sitting here wondering what to think. And instead of just answering, do other things instead.

Gonna have to go to Uni to get some sort of degree to come back on here soon, its getting oh so cryptic.

I ain't saying that they are football fans, I'm suggesting that the media could spin this as a football related incident, which COULD have a negative impact.
