Davies for Hobbs?

Hobbs tends to hoof a bit when he is rushed.
Sat on the front row I get to see it more easily.

 

Apparently he was offered as part of the Schmeichel deal as well - is Bruce really that desperate to get rid?

£3m + Hobbs would be absolute robbery.

 

I think offering Stewart would be beyond pointless. Almost a pisstake. Evans I could maybe see NP being interested in.

Guess work by national media that the HDF have latched onto. No way will Steve Bruce allow one of his top 3 defenders to leave for Curtis Davies.

Nobody i have talked to even considers this to be a goer. If Davies signs it will be for wonga only.

We allegedly also offered Jack Hobbs to Leicester for Schmeichel, so I think you need to come to grips that maybe Hobbs is on his way out Tickles.

 

I think the Kasper Schmeichel transfer is now ended,, for now at least. Nothing to suggest Jack Hobbs has been any part of any deal other than what the national media quoted and that started with the Curtis Davies rumour. The Fail just copied and pasted as always.

Nothing to do with getting to grips - its just silly to think it would happen. We are better off with Jack Hobbs anyway.

A few of the chaps at the snooker club. Nodody can see any logic is getting rid of one of our top defenders. Alex Bruce maybe but not Hobbs.

Hobbs and Chester should be regulars next season. So The question would be who partners them when both are fit and available to play.

also, Is the Birmingham away pre-season game a part of the transfer fee for Davies ?

Look, Mr Tickler, why wont SB offer Hobbs for part exchange with Davies? Hes already in for the Wigan lad. He also wants Davies who he quite obviously fancies to boost his defensive options. Its quite clear to me that SB doesn't think Hobbs is up to Prem footie because he lacks pace. I would respect anything SB has to say about defenders as he had quite a pedigree in that department after his playing career. I have said it on here before and I will say it again, why did Hobbs get dropped for the final game of the season. You ask yourself that question and if you are honest you will find an answer. Hobbs was great for us in the Championship until he got that unfortunate injury. Clearly SB has seen something that he doesn't fancy in the player and I am supporting that.
