ML reiterated today that he is staying. However, as we've cut ties with you know who, and Laudrup isn't going to, what happens know? Is the situation unworkable? This may damage us for next season and therefore can we afford all this uncertainty? What will transfer targets think? Laudrup doesn't seem to realise that this is hurting his 'Brand' as well it might us. Sorry my SWANS come first, time for him to go?
After reading that lengthy piece by the evertonian fella, I'm inclined to say that ML won't let it damage his brand too much before he feels the need to leave. That said, I don't think it's an unworkable situation on the basis that ML's agent isn't needed for ML to fulfil his contract and we can easily move on to sign players at our own pace. I think the most instrumental thing would be ensuring that Bayram Tut...thingy is now stopped from passing comment on ML's opinion, our conduct and the relationship between the club and the manager.
Every single time ML has been asked about his future he has said he is staying. What goes on between Huw and Tulmuntu is their problem, not Laudrups, as Laudrups himself has said. Huw is a grown man and an astute business man and whatever business he chose to do with Tumutlu is his problem, not Laudrups. Laudrups hasn't said a single thing out of order. Only saying he's gonna stay and question about transfers should be directed to the board. Now Tumlunu is obviously a freak, but to think ML is orchestrating his good bye is pure BS. FACT. If Tunulmu has been involved in any previous dealings, like the signings of the spanish armada, then it is because Huw allowed it, not because ML insistd on it. It Huw's problem, not Laudrups. The End.
No. Michael Laudrup is very good for our health. The same cannot be said about his agent which is why we are where we are. Laudrup is an intelligent guy who will realise that Tunulmu does run off at the mouth. After his previous management experience, I'm guessing that ML knows he needs to show that he can see a project through. In fact, with Euro football ahead I think he wants to.
Ivor . See nothing in any of what's happened that should interfere with ML and the Club. It's in everybody's best interest - ML and Swans - for him to stay with us.
Agreed guys, as ML it's nothing to do with him. The problem is between his agent and the board (Huw) and as he has said, doesn't affect his position at the club.
I think there is a case for him to go, but It really doesn't bother me if he stays or not, personally I would prefer him to go, as there are too many issues next season otherwise, unless Huw and Laudrup can come to an amicable agreement!..............
And Huw sorted that problem by telling Tumlunu that he will be no longer dealing with him as far as transfers are concerned. I also think ML has had a quiet word with his agent and told him to calm down because Tumlunu's tweets and statements to the press was making him look bad.
Here is a question I would like answered. Why was Huw doing transfer business with this clown in the first place? Surely he should have been doing business with the agents of players we are trying to sign? The managers agent should have no involvement in the discussions unless he to happens to represent said player too. So, Huw Jenkins telling this clown to get stuffed is 100% correct
I think the only accusation that can be laid at Huw is one of initial naivety as far as Bayram is concerned. The guy has some form so maybe Jenkins should of been a bit more wary.
