Just seen video of robots in a Swiss airport that can guide you round the airport. Touch screens with 8 options...simple pictures suitable for children and old people (was offended, but had to laugh at the fact that it was true). Press for toilet and it sets off guiding you....the trouble is that it is very slow and I know that I would soon spot the sign I wanted over its shoulder...do manners demand that you stay with it or are you allowed to apologise and go ahead on your own<laugh>

Anyone else think this Warner incident is going on too long. He made a drunken swing at a player without hurting him...bit like the Australian team. He has apologised and been punished. Someone on Sky is calling it despicable...rather strong words I feel. Yes, he has previous, but he hasn't killed someone.

It's pretty obvious why the story keeps going. We have seen a way to disrupt the Aussie team and maybe put pressure on them, which could end up msking them crack. We will see next month if it works or not.

Yeah, considering people now laugh about Botham and Ian Chappell brawling this is a lot of fuss over nothing. How unlike the British press! <laugh>

Hampshire have forfeited their 1st innings and Gloucs have forfeited their 2nd innings. So Hants need 411 to win. Good to see from both captains.

Fine, because the Hope Powell thread apparently isn't going to be reopened, I'll respond to Lord Duckhunter here (even if he won't see it):

My interest in women's football is partly due to the fact that I am a football fan in general and appreciate football at all levels but mostly because women's football at present does not have many of the negative aspects of men's football such as diving, handbags, players biting each other and the greed and mercenry attitude of many male footballers. Furthermore, a lot of the players aren't paid and are just playing for enjoyment of the game and some are very good players and still represent the local area which they are based and I think they deserve support just as much as the men do and I think it's unfair the lack of coverage they get. I don't deny some of the players may be good looking, but that's no factor in my interest. I mean the first Portsmouth game I went to, I didn't really know what any of the players looked like.

My Example reference, is mainly due to the fact that recently the FA seems to be quashing all of those positive things that differentiate women's football from men's, particularly the greed and focus on money: you have Liverpool basically buying the league (I wanted a team that wasn't Arsenal to win the league as I feel a different winner would be more beneficial for women's football in general, so now I am supporting Bristol Academy.... only southern team as well), you have Manchester City buying their way into the top division, you have Doncaster being relegated to make room for Manchester City, you have big clubs like Leeds having their WSL application rejected while clubs like Durham and Oxford get in, you have Lincoln being forced to 'do a MK Dons', etc.

Crying shame that he died at the age he did. Just as he'd got himself on the straight and narrow too. RIP James Hunt.
