What about Scott Sinclair instead of Bueno? Was very good while at Swansea, but unsurprisingly didn't get much of a look in at City. Now with Navas joining he is probably even more of a surplus to their requirements. They'd probably be happy recouping what they got for him - around £6m - which is similar to the touted Bueno fee? His brother is also in our academy, not sure that means much though!

Would love to sign Scott Sinclair ... very talented player given the right environment.

Very detailed breakdown of the Castro rumour. What a great write up, extrapolating piles of stuff from nothing, and yet it all makes sense.

Guly wanted by Leicester and Millwall

Apologies if either was posted already, been off the thread for a little while.

Come on keep up as you would probably say to your students.

This thread has become a little like trying to guess what you might have got for Christmas when you were a kid. You knew there were lots of really expensive presents you might like that you knew your rich mates would get for sure like meccano and an electric train set but in the end you knew deep down you would have to settle for some crayons and a colouring book.

Banega is a qulity player but not 100% sure how he'd fit in. Saw with QPR that Granero didn't really work despite him being a fantastic signing and a bit of a coup. More than happy with Schneiderlin, Cork, Davis, JWP as our deeper options and if we were to sign competition I'd robably rather a tall powerful midfielder to completement and add balance. Might just be me though, and Banega is an excellent passer of the ball from deep.

He played in advanced roles a lot this season. The "Gaston Role", also the one that Davis occupied a lot and Banega is better than him.

Wow! A 3DO! Thanks Nicola! Just what I always wanted!

I'd be pretty happy with Sinclair - good player and can play wide - just have to be careful not to pay over the odds for a English player

Thing is Sinclair is rumoured to be on 50k a week so he will need to take at least a 20k a week drop in wages.

Have wanted Sinclair since he went to Man city, knew every one would forget about him. He looked like was gonna become an England regular (not hard i know) when he was at Swansea. He is just what we need too

I would rather have sinclair than anyone else we have been realistically linked with. He's what we need more than anything else, pace and penetration on the wings.

Agree with this ... if he can find the right club, I can see his career progressing well.
