Lazio is ready to give Pedro Luis Cavanda. The Angolan right back with a Belgian passport, born in 1991, like to Sunderland. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, 4 million euro the deal can go through. Cavanda reach the former partner Diakite.

    On what basis?

At the very best he's a potentially decent calculated gamble.

his ability to play left or right back ,when you get praise from a player like Ronaldinho ,who has predicted that he will become a name to be first on a team sheet in the future , thats good enough for me, also his belgium connections might help us keep ming.

This is a baffling one mate, when has Ronaldinho played with or against the lad? Did this happen on Football Manager or something?

I do think the lad could be potentially a very good signing, but 'feather in the hat'? Behave man!

His first league start for Lazio came at the Stadio Olimpico against eventual champions Milan. Cavanda earned plaudits with an impressive display against former FIFA World Player of the Year and World Cup winner Ronaldinho.

Wikipedia... Any better source than that? It also says he only played three times that year.

So where is the Ronaldinho quote then? And you are saying he'd be a 'feather in the cap' signing based on his debut, several years ago?

Let's not get carried away here mate, we are looking at some solid players, but the big thing will be if we sign a Zarate, Dost or De Jong, not an unproven left/right back who's played barely any games.

He looks physically right, and he has pace, so I'm happy to see him come in.

Doesn't need my blessing lad, but if that was our feather in the cap signing, we'd be ****ed.

    Simple.

I'm not judging anything, but I bet you've never even seen the lad play.

It's kind of amusing you pulled cest down for saying that the majority of us wouldn't have heard of half our new signings, and claimed "real football fans know about them", when your entire knowledge clearly comes from a quick glance at wikipedia...

have you , from what i have heard from a friend who has watched him play , he says we would be getting a very, very good player and i trust his judgment totally, he has lived out there for years and gives me a run down on most of these players we are in for.
why do you piss on posters chips, its my passed on information that has been used for my praise towards us trying to sign him.
for a team who has not had a decent full back for ages , i truly hope he comes to us

There's a bit of difference between "Trusting the powers" and you outright declaring, and I quote "Hell of a player". All your words not mine.

You're such a bellend sometimes mate and you ain't half ringing it today. <ok>

I'm not pissing on any chips mate, just saying we need to reign it in, he could easily be a flop.

Your mate probably isn't a season ticket holder at Lazio, and as such probably hasn't seen any more of him than the many lads on this forum that watch footy from all over Europe every year.

I have already agreed he looks a potentially good signing, and of course, if he signs, I hope he's quality <ok>

Good on him, and I hope his judgement is right.

This wasn't a dig at you fella, just a case of 'hang on, this is a lad who hasn't got a game', he needs to go some to prove himself, no question.
