http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11714/8770239/Transfer-guide The line "it's difficult to pick out even one player who is good enough to play in the Premier League" is just laughable!
Some idiot who, because our team isn't full of exotic names that the media **** over, presumes there is no quality in it..
Clueless, Sky should be embarrassed. Not saying we will do amazingly well but we certainly have a core group of players that could take the league by storm.
Very accurate IMO. SKY can't be blamed for the fact that most of you are delusional. It's exactly what I've been saying since we first looked like we could challenge at the top of the Championship, nine or ten months ago.
Sarah Winterburn. It's taken from a column that appeared on Football 365 (now owned by Sky). I have a feeling she's a Huddersfield fan
Aluko - yes, perhaps. The others? Not a chance. I'm surprised they included Elmohamady too, TBH. Chester's simply not going to be good enough. Not only is he going into next season on the back of a mostly terrible 2012/2013, but he's both short and slow too. Koren's been a nothing player for at least the last 12 months. If he only plays well in one out of every five or six games in the Championship, what good is he going to be in the Premier League? Bear in mind as well that he's going to be 33 in September. Meyler - overpriced and overrated. Not going to be good enough for next year. Rosie - the ****? When does he even make the team? He's a competent player for sure, but he's hardly the next Cafu.
I think we'll need a massive amount of money spent on the team or it'll be really tough. Aluko needs to get back to fitness. Rosey will be second fiddle next season again, same with Evans. Elmo found it hard at Sunderland and that's why he came to us in the first place, same with Meyler. Both were out of favour. Big season for Brady. I reckon he's most suited to be honest.
He's the only one, and that's if he stops being a greedy ****, learns to cross and take corners, and starts contributing a few goals. Sorry, do you need me to draw you a picture as well?
We have several players that are capable of making the step up. Bear in mind everyone wrote off the likes of ash and daws when we got promoted you could argue that most of our players are even more suited than those two. Bar Evans of course. Quinn, Aluko, Chester, Brady, possibly Meyler, Hobbs, Rosenior and elmo are well capable of the jump and a few in there have already played in the prem. Add a couple of new faces and ba da bing, we stay up
