There was a 20 way split when he was here, new players against the old and then a 3 way split with all the frenchies. Barton was definitely at the centre of the 1st split, especially with his treatment of Taarabt with anyone could see on the pitch.
Barton got on really well with many of the old guard. This argument is very old hat and that's was from a first teamer not just a mate at the club. Every work place has divisions, its up to management to manage and get the best from them. Right now i'd take him back.
I wouldn't. Apart from being a twat, he's not a very good footballer. Plus he never wanted to be here according to him.
Why? Hes publicly admitted he only came for the money. Ask him how hed feel having a team mate who only turning up for the money and doesnt care about the club or winning.
Just how short are some people's memories ????? http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/144543-Joey-Barton
He publicly admitted it, the others haven't even the honesty to do that. I'm not saying he has any further useful purpose for QPR, but damning him for his honesty doesn't really add up, does it?
It's not always about short memories, people are allowed to change their minds or feel differently in the future!! It's human nature, opinions are usually based on experiences and feelings at a moment in time. They are not set in stone.......
You cant be sure if the others are here for that, at least we are 100% sure on Barton. Id damn the others as well but I cant be 100% sure on them, well except for Bosingwa.
I'm sorry but I must insist the comment about the players acting like a bunch of seven year olds at break time be retracted. I am a primary school teacher and my seven year olds would never behave as arrogantly and selfishly as our lot. Thank you.
For a long time I haven't doubted that Taarabt cares. He's just a bit of a child but he cares. He wants to do well, he wants to play well, he wants to win. I think he's matured a lot since that season too. Also, can we question his loyalty? Every transfer window there has been rumours but he hasn't left yet. He's done a great service to our team and has done more right than he's done wrong, by far. He can flourish again this coming season. But to be honest, I wouldn't blame him if he left. He's worked hard and gone through a lot of upheavals and problems in his time here and it's all ended in disappointment with the relegation and turmoil in the team. Also, it's obvious that Warnock still loves QPR. He's always talking about us!
Thyats because no body want him..you seem like an intelligent bloke...you work it out...Barca, PSG 16 million..absolute bull....don't you think we'd have ripped their arm of for that cash He was good 2 years ago, but 16 million for someone who's had 2 chances? wake up ffs. I love the admiration he got when in the NPC..but just been pants since then. Still you guys carry on..you're doing yourselves proud !
He does care, trust me on that. Its just that in the past it came out the wrong way. His last strop was a long time ago.
I fully expect Adel to leave us this window. And what a dark day for QPR it will be. His performances in that championship season were a joy to behold, we should never forget that. Didn't set the premiership alight but things spiralled out of control very quickly at our club and I don't doubt that had a fairly big impact on him.
