Apparently the entire Hearts team has been put up for sale. Anyone there that would suit Hull?

Nobody is going to pay £6m for Gary Hooper. Hooper could well tell Celtic that if they dont accept a sensible bid (for a player moving into the final year of his contract) then he will see his contract out and then move for Free. I would. The player has the power at this point.

Spot on and for all we know here that may well be the case. Twt on that one now.

Mark Schwarzer has to be the No.1 choice now. He only wants a year to see him through to the the World Cup in 2014 Brazil and then he is done over here. Works for all parties. Only wages which is the Brucie bonus,.

Without a doubt Elmander is a bargain at just £400k. An upgrade on Simpson and has vast PL experience which is what we need and lack. Elmander may well suit the styles and help both Fryatt and Proschwitz.?

Ethel the tea lady maybe ? :emoticon-0102-bigsm From what i saw of Hearts last season - Nope.

Marius Zaliukas is their only decent player nowadays, he'd probably get into our squad. I'd maybe take Scott Robinson as well as one for the future.

STEVE Bruce is said to be keen on urging Hull City's board to up their bid for former S****horpe United striker Gary Hooper (S****horpe Telegraph and Sports Mole).

How do folk know this information? Does Hooper still have mates in Scunny who he telephones with 'secret conversations with Steve Bruce'? It's all a bit beyond belief!

I had Golden Graham's for breakfast!

Jake Livermore mentioned in a surprisingly well put post on Football Rumours, £2mill. Bruce keen and fits into the Allams fee/wage structure.

I've heard the Livermore one too, wonder if there's something in it. I've also heard from my source at the club that Alfred Finnbogason at Heerenveen has become a potential target, but only if we don't get our preferred two of Hooper and Austin. He finished with 24 goals in the Erdevise last year in a pretty average Heerenveen side, but I've never seen him play so don't know too much about him. He'd probably cost upwards of £4m too, he's very highly rated in Holland.

Alfred Finnbogason would be a splendid signing, even if just to ensure that in a Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink type tradition, we employed the Dutchman with the best name in the Premier League. (Even Though he is Icelandic)

A name that hasn't been mentioned for a while is John Guidetti.

He'd be a good signing. Though a loan would be more likely.

I think I mentioned him a while ago. He popped up on a load of ****e rumour sites in the days following Promotion, but has died down since then. He's a great larker, I'd love to see him here.

I got told by a mate at work that we're apparently closing in on Liam Bridcutt. Anybody know any nitty-gritty details on that one to support it, or is that one going in the 'wishful thinking' box?

I haven't heard anything, but I'd be surprised if our first signing was a CM. There must have been a fair few rivals for him if it meant signing him this quickly. I still think Mellis at Barnsley would be a better option, probably cheaper too.

It is, that was the point. People keep referring to it as the Juniper Pro League, it's actually the Jupiler Pro League.

I've always liked the name ""Hertz Van Rental"" myself ? :D

Thank you Sir Bruce Forsyth. Come on down Tommy Tiger. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I can see that one myself as well. Not a bank breaker by any means and would be the perfect replacement for McKenna and Olifinjana. Cheaper as well.

Never bring bedroom matters into the boardroom though. :emoticon-0105-wink::D

Seems the Figuero Deal is now surfacing

Was told last night Blackburn have had a cash injection, so dont need to remove Rhodes form the wage bill just yet, seems dead that deal now.
