While watching the u21 finals I was thinking Fabregas may have another reason to leave soon enough..

In the shape of Thiago Alcantara.

He seems more of a natural replacement for Xavi. He only started 11 games last Season but is highly regarded by the coach and seems more of a typical Barca style midfielder.

Fabregas is alot more direct and his time at Arsenal moulded him into more of a Premier league style playmaker. He seems better suited to a Club like Arsenal,United or even a German side like Bayern or Dortmund.

Thiago's in a fairly strong position now, though.
He's made his mark, but he didn't play enough games for Barca last season, so he's triggered a clause in his contract with makes him available for €18m.
With Fabregas ahead of him and others in line to take his place, he might decide that this is the right time to leave.
Man Utd have been linked with a move already this summer.

Thiago is top quality, if he want to move to the prem, then whoever signs him up would be getting a really good addition to their team.

Somehow he managed to do it without pissing us (fans) off. Don't ask me how exactly.
