And Glasgow I'm all for people trying something different to get the atmosphere going but have to say i absolutely hate coldplay - music for people who don't actually like music. Ah well good luck with it!
Could Watford not adopt You'll never Walk Alone? I can imagine Dan S singing that as the top of his voice
There was talk a few years ago of us signing Vinnie Jones - and adopting 'You'll never walk again'. Thankfully nothing came of it.
"Walk on, walk on with hope in your arse and you'll never walk again" was a popular song sung to the opposition fans in the Rookery in the late 60's.......
Just doing some catching up reading. I think the singing section is a brilliant idea- and I truly believe it'll make an enormous difference. Sadly though I really don't think Yellow is the song for us. It's too irregular and the tempo is far too slow, it'll be all over the place and fall apart in no time. I'd be happy to be proved wrong though, if 1881 gives a strong enough lead it could catch on. No reason not to give it a real good go. By the way, listening to the 3CR clip, I do believe that your voice coach is Shahnaz aka 'Shiny' Hussein. Used to be in a band with her. http://www.livingarchiveband.co.uk/html/real_lives_line-up.html
You'll never walk alone - because the greater Merseyside Police cannot guarantee your sfety if you choose to do so"
Was thinking just that! Maybe the 1881 can get together at the ground on a non match day for that one. Let's be 'avin' them!
I quite like the diea of Sir Elton going on the pitch and rather than singing one of his songs launching into something really outrageous and offensive. friggin in the riggin or similar. Dunno why - the thought of it just makes me giggle.
