Don't blame us for his views - he's German! He is a bit of an oddbod - a couple of months ago, after a 2-2 draw with Oman in a World Cup qualifier, he put the blame for denting their qualifying chances entirely on the "younger players". The two players in question are both 24, one of whom plays in the Bundesliga.
A trying day so far. Raining hard all morning and the car had to go for a service. A number of bits and pieces came to light in the service that are not urgent but will have to be done before too long. On the way home had to wait for a while for the fire brigade to come and remove a tree that had fallen down and completely blocked the road. It brought some power lines down with it, including the pole. Often cables can sway about in the breeze for months before EDF come along and put up a new pole, but suspect that they will have to attend to this rather more quickly as I can see a passing lorry taking it for a ride.
afternoon all ...it's complete madness at the moment...i keep thinking things are getting easier, and then i get a phone call with yet another new pupil! Just been to the dentist..... piece of tooth still in gum after botched extraction 2 years ago... now infected.. so need to be removed... oh joy of joys....
