In all seriousness I'm staying well clear of this discussion, having only been an F1 fan since the noughties began.

 

You're still entitled to an opinion... It's not like the rest us have been watching since 1950.

 

Can't believe I missed out the knacker from dundalk, Tommy Byrne, the man Senna was scared of racing. In a test for McLaren he posted the fastest time a Mclaren had ever done around Silverstone, beating the pole times of their 2 drivers (Lauda and watson), with a car that had alledgedly been 'knobbled' by the McLaren mechanics to give him less than full throttle. here's a little piece on him http://www.espn.co.uk/f1/motorsport/story/8578.html #

According to Eddie Jordan he had the habit of slowing down when in the lead to let cars passed so he could race them again
