keeping on the driving theme, dont you love it when a driver does everything badly and when you manage to get past them they give you a dirty look as if you are the bad driver :steam:

As a private hire driver who spends five days a week on London's roads there are so many things that get up my nose, here are a few...

    Buses:

Fekkin' buses that pull out just because they indicate

Buses that have recessed stops that don't pull in properly

Buses that pull away with three or four in a 'train'

Buses pulling out to overtake buses at stops

Did you know that buses are responsible for 80% of traffic problems in London and that outside peak hours 80% of buses have less than 10 passengers?

    Taxis:

Taxis that stop on a sixpence to pick up fares

Taxis doing U-turns out of the blue to pick up fares

Taxis doing U-turns out of the blue after picking up fares

Taxis cutting in from bus lanes

    Cyclists:

Don't start me on cyclists, please!

Cyclists pulling away from lights (when they actually stop) four or five abreast

Cyclists who ride in the middle of a lane slowly

Cyclists who ride on the pavement and then cut across zebra crossings

Cyclists who carry their kids in seats on the back of their bikes (you may have a death wish but why sacrifice your child you stupid c*nt?)

Cyclists who wave their arms wildly when signalling (Oooh, look at me!)

Cyclists in lycra who think they're Bradley Wiggins and ride like c*nts

Non-cyclists tottering along on Borisbikes, a danger to everyone they get near

    Others that piss me off:

Rickshaws - what half-baked cretin came up with that idea? Covent Garden is an arse of a place to drive at the best of times without these asthmatic cronks rocking about at 5mph holding everyone up

Lorries that turn down side streets they have little chance of going straight through without holding everyone up for ages

Red traffic lights that stay red for ages

Pedestrians who wait at traffic lights when red and just as they turn green decide to cross

Pedestrians on Oxford Street who totally ignore traffic lights when they go green

Traffic wardens who move you on just because they can

Drivers who become 'paralysed' stopping as soon as they hear sirens approaching (wait till you actually see the blue flashing lights before stopping you prick)

Police who close roads at the drop of a hat without any concern for the chaos they cause

Women drivers turning right onto a main road (It's ok love, I've got ALL day)

Women drivers that never get past 30mph

    Women drivers...

    I'll leave it at that...

I think it's fair to say that cyclists and female drivers should be banned.

No, he got there eventually. He's nothing if not predictable.

Me? I dislike people who hate for no discernible reason, they just feel it's expected of them.

I'm naming no names, because I don't want to point a finger at Col! <whistle>

Pushy salespeople are orrible, but possibly the thing that makes my blood boil the hardest is seeing kids not strapped into their seats in the back of cars.

You know, as do I, that he was talking about an unfounded dislike of the football club.

Norwich, as a City, is lovely, but each to his own. Aviva is a **** place to work, then I don't work for other people so it's of no consequence.

    Hi Andy.

Is it? I'm sorry, didn't realise you guys were so insular.

To be honest, I liked it for the Irish contingent, but happy to leave mate. <ok>
