Do any of you pay to these guys? and should you?

Personally think its a piss take that a man signs up to defend his country, gets paid shoite wages, gets injured and has to look to a charity for help.

    thoughts?

They should only be helped if they have confirmed taliban / civilian kills.

See 'D-Day Landings' and 'Battle of Britain' for Heroes.

    And Spiderman.

Still don't really understand why it came about in the first place. rather thans et up a new charity because it was felt that some soldiers were not getting the respect they deserved surely it would have been better to have another charm offensive from the British Legion?

Anyway, i find some of the marketing a bit agressive - it's almost like if you don't give money you're supporting the opposition. I used to raise money for NSPCC but would never accuse someone who didn't give of supporting child cruelty!

Isn't it part of your religion to give money to charity?

Has the british army ever shot anyone you know?

Are you the most stupid person on the internet?

The answer to all those questions is pretty obvious :(

    I agree with this...

I give cash to H4H but prefer to give to Erskine Hospice or the Poppy appeal.

I agree that the Goverment should do more ...

They start the "peace keeping missions", so they should support the people they send over to "keep the peace" who get injured as a result.

As usual Ponders, you are spot on. Somebody doesn't automatically become a hero by signing up for the Forces.

The army is for Northerners with no money, help for heroes is for ex soldiers with no legs.
I would happily give money to servicemen with a high kill ratio

H4H had to raise half a mill or something to build a swimming pool for injured soldiers. This should be a govt role especially since the Olympics and that were being catered for
Cheeky basturts wanted the soldiers to take part in the disabled ones but not enough to dig into their pockets for facilities

I agree re the name heroes too. Just a way to get more money out of the average bloke to pay for the shoite they have created
