    2pm Beverley

Limegrove opened 4/7 - too short for me to get involved in a claimer. Hope she wins but won't bet it.

She's a good horse. This is a bad race. Unless there's a sleeper in there she'll win.

    4pm

    Froghallow 7/4

    5pm

Rockweiler 6/1 - same message has come through as the other day. They think it'll win off this mark.

Fairyhouse 6.30 Mooqtar 7/2 NAP - By Invasor out of the class mare Sayedat Alhadh who rarely produces a bad horse with the likes of Haatef and Shimah. Won maiden first time as most of this mares progeny do and this looks a nice spot for him with the stable in form, Tennessee Wildcat and Hot Bed look outclassed and the danger could be the Marnane horse Antious. Taking potential over experience has cost me recently but im sticking with it here.

    Haydock
    2.20 Now My Sun 14/1 e/w
    3.20 Sioux Chieftain 7/2
    4.20 Scatter Dice 11/1

    Morning, all. Hope everyone well.

Today’s racing is fairly Ordinary with a capital ‘O’ once again but the big question of the day must be will Dessie Hughes’ Chill finally come in from the cold and win a race again (8.30 Fairyhouse). As my regular readers are aware I’ve followed this one ever since he went hurdling, across the water, and it must be said that on the whole he’s been disappointing in that sphere (despite a win at Leopardstown and a 6th in the ‘Fred Winter’ at the Cheltenham Festival). Back on the level this evening Chill doesn’t look that harshly treated off 68 though up against not the greatest field ever assembled.

Meanwhile, am cursing somewhat as in today’s ‘Weekender’ the Lambourn correspondent has headlined tipped Mr Henderson’s Lieutenant Miller for next week’s ‘Ascot Stakes’. Cor blimey, that won’t keep the price down!

However, keep smiling all and good luck.

One for me very confident of a place so ew on Las verglas star I think at 12/1 it is very well worth the risk in the 220 at hay another I will be watching small win bet will be the 410 yarm black Dave was withdrew yesterday for this race in hope of early rain I think the fav has since pulled out but my money is on done dreaming as I don't think the ground will soften enough and at 5/1 well worth the risk good luck all

Bob - I am not a layer, but Frog Hollow stood out today as a lay bet in my view.

I think this horse has ability but also has something about him that is far from straight forward, were he priced at 5-1 today I would probably back him in this grade but at even money its's got to be a lay. There are so many question marks and so there will in my opinion be about 10-20 better even money shots in the next week or two.

I do like your other two however, good luck on all three.

Bugger - I have already backed Titus Gent with the view Luca's often need the run.

Do you know anything of Moldowney at Haydock? I quite fancy Scatterdice but Moldowney would have to be a big danger.

I wouldn't take evens either Blue. Too short. 7/4 was a good price as far as I was concerned and the support is really strengthening my conviction. I don't know a flat yard better at landing a punt.

Bodes well for tomorrow's runner as well, despite being first time out.
