I like Elmander Not a goal machine, but hard worker (no, he's not a Jay Simpson/McLean) and keeps on producing opportunities to himself and his team mates. He has a fairly good goal ratio throughout his career.
Cheers Strov, Just got me wondering what with the Curtis Davies deal and the fact we've offered Mcshane a new deal etc. Like i say wasnt from my usual gossip monger so didnt read too much into it just wondered if anybody had heard anything.
Elmander was brilliant after struggling at first fort Bolton, I will never forget his goal against Wolves.
Radcliffe Garth in South Cave is built on land my grandad owned - horrible tasteless things completely out of keeping with the area. No doubt perfect for the modern day footballer.
They look like they were built by a developer who had a passion for Vegas hotels and I don't know how they get the money for them, they're too close together.
Sounds like we're in for two 4m(ish) out of Rhodes, Austin, Hooper and maybe Ince. If we look at out squad from last year we've lost Simpson, Gedo and hopefully Mclean. Replace them with two of the above and SEB i'll be very happy indeed.
I think, as Steven Agnew has already said publically, that our primary formation next season will be 352. I said last season that if we tried playing that formation in the Prem we would get slaughtered unless we improve the 3 centrebacks. It now looks to me like that is exactly what is going to happen and our first choice line-up at the back will be Chester on the right, Davies in the middle and Figueroa on the left, and I think, given our budget, that is as good a back line as we could wish to see. I do think something will have to give in the squad though, as that would mean 3 first choice CBs and Hobbs, Faye, McShane and Bruce as back-up which is too many. I think it will boil down to either Bruce or Hobbs leaving the club, and we all know who will win that race. Not saying I like it, but that's how I see it.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...-offer-4m-plus-for-Celtic-striker-Gary-Hooper now this looks better (sorry if already posted, can't be stuffed going through all the post's)
It's on a par with the houses on 'The Well' just off Little Wold Lane. Looks like ****ing Balamory down there. Have to walk past it to the pub, it makes my eyes bleed.
After talking with a Brighton fan it appears that Liam Bridcutt did indeed sign an extension to his contract that was Due to expire in 2013 but was not widely known(ends 2015). However since Brighton missed out on the PL and with Gus Poyet unlikely to walk back into Brighton again Liam Bridcutt wants Out. I wonder if we may offer Aaron Mclean in any deal with the seagulls. ReUnite the CMS/AM strike force again ?? Prepare to be a bit disappointed then. We are apparantly. But so are Wba and Norwich. Deffo An upgrade on McKenna and Olifinjana for sure. T w t. I think we shall have at least 2 strikers from the names mentioned already in this thread. Bakary Sako is also available for £4m. Maybe we should offer £3m and Tom Cairney to Wolverhampton ? Could swing the deal. Our need for another defender can be left for now as that area is more than covered. Can wait and see and leave our options open. But as an example Stephen Reid (just released by Wba) would be a far better addition that Curtis Davies. imo.
Oddschanger ‏@Oddschanger Which forward will #Hull buy this summer? Hooper - 2/1 Rhodes - 3/1 Austin - 3/1 Odemwingie - EVENS
What about Lucas Piazon, promising, young Chelsea left winger who has said he would like to be loaned to a prem club.
We've seen a significant swing in the Robert Lewandowski market. He is now in to 4/7 to join Bayern Munich, with former favourites Manchester United out to 9/4. Elsewhere Gary Hooper has been slashed from 25/1 to evens to sign for Hull City following a string of sizeable bets. Check out all the latest transfer markets. Yep, it's looking positive.
