Club Football (working with players 4/5 times a week with players you choose) International Football (working with players 4/5 times a year with players you don't choose by enlarge) Do you have a clue about football? Comparing International Football to Club Football is plain idiotic, but not surprising coming from you.
He's not average, he's not anything. He's at a club with a great opportunity to win things though, as good old Arry would say "You can't fail at ______". If Moyes fails at United, he's average and if he doesn't then the world's his oyster. There are better coaches out there but that shouldn't matter domestically.
Come on, they were only the Portugese league and Europa cup, no manager or club of any note has ever won them
This is a hard one to call, if Pep fails at Bayern is he a bad coach and Low better, was Vilaneuva a better coach than Jose? i think certain people fit certain positions and if by luck they get the right one you get a great coach.
Moyes has to hit the ground running, if he does that he can be a success, if he doesn't (IMO) he'll be a Wenger (2007- )
I might agree (from the press) but would like to think United would give him a little more time than most. What do you think the reaction will be if you have a bad first couple of months from press and club?
The true United fans (supporters of the club) will be fine, they understand the situation but fans of the brand won't. Patience with Moyes will depend on how Pellegrini does. If United don't retain their title, the press would tolerate Mourinho or Wenger - with experience and pedigree in winning it - pipping him to it, but not Pellegrini. Moyes isn't foreign and has experience managing in the PL so he will get more time from the press than someone like.... AVB.
You will find Sir David, will get away with murder this year, quite simply because Jose is back and he will take all hits because he sells newspaper space.
Pellegrini is the most vulnerable manager of the top 3 as he has no previous experience managing in the PL.
