Every day for over 30 years. The club of choice for southern BNP members. Even in these "enlightened" times the club has a racist as their captain. The attempt to present Chelsea as anti-racism over the Clattenburg affair only stressed how light heatedly the club views the issue.

So the club supports the BNP ? Don't be so bloody stupid. And we dared to support a player cleared in a court of law. You lot support a drug cheat and a player who karate kicks a fan. What class.

Scolari had won the World Cup, how did that work out for the Chavs (was he before your time)?

Before my time? Ha yeah of course he was. Big difference between club football and a world cup. He was found out at club level.
    And?

AVB had won a club league and the Europa League.

Yep. Then went to a top club with top players and was out of his depth.

So the fact he'd won trophies meant nothing?

Yeah. He was too young at the time. In a few years I think he'll be a top manager. Moyes has been at it for 11 years and won nothing. Makes him average imo.

Fair point but Moyes has never really been in a position to win anything. AVB lost to player power at Chelsea I think, though that's his weakness if he can't impose himself on the rest of the squad.

Think you got a point about player power. His inexperience showed there. I know he didn't really have lots to spend but everton aren't exactly a small club. Still time will tell and if he turns out to be a class act, I'll be the first to admit that I got it wrong.
