So onto the vote, had a bit of a think on how to do the vote so that each person could vote for two people, but realistically the easiest way is just making it multiple choice and then relying on peoples goodwill to just vote for two people, a few people will definitely just spam votes across all of them etc. but it shouldn't be the end of the world.

So just to emphasise for thread-skimmers benefits (Joe!), please vote for two players.

I think that was because Riether was the most popular nominee by a mile.

Indeed, Sascha Riether had a big lead in nominations to the point that there were 16 votes for 5 different players and 10 went to Riether, hence to save time as I've mentioned before I figured a vote would be a formality so he went straight into the XI. As I discussed with FLT, if people want to vote anyway in future then that's fine by me, was just trying to keep everything moving swiftly.

I actually managed to resist voting for all of them, I'm so proud of myself.

I only voted for one. I wondered why the % added up to 175.

I'm very pleased that the two I voted for seem to be establishing a healthy lead.

I wouldn't take Samba based on his performances last season, nor his performance against us. I'm still puzzled as to why so many think he was so good. If his wage demands were under £20k and he was happy sitting on the bench, then sure, why not.

Precisely. He was constantly losing his man, and was just lucky we were so poor that day that we didn't take advantage. He just had to stand there, slightly out of position and being a big lump, and we'd give it to him.

Probably correct, I seem to remember thinking "he looks good in the air" but guess it was our lackluster delivery.

He plays against us like he did against Fulham. The difference was we played it to him.
