A bit of both I expect. The rises were expected and agreed but I imagine aap3 did not expect Saints to do it so quickly.

Funny you say this, i heard a rumour we were going to have Liebherr Cranes as our sponsor to get over the fair play rule. Get £100m a year from Liebherr and that's where our revenue would come from i suppose.

Yeah, that's not true. The Liebherr's put enough money in as it is.

Anyway, that wouldn't work too well considering the assertion that the club, in the long-term, should be sustainable.

The chance of us getting silly money sadly died with Markus. You only do that when you are besotted. We have had quite a bit of money put into us, but we are a business to Katherina after all not a hobby.

Nicola had to borrow some money to balance the books when we came up...nothing sinister, just business. But that wouldn't have happened if ML had still been with us. We have had a lot of money put in when debt was converted to equity. Markus was generous to us...now we must trust Nicola.

I've seen no reason at all to doubt that Liebherr remain totally committed to the club. Their top drawer and with £8billion + a year turnover saints will continue to feel the benefit am sure
