    I think the boy will come good, play when not injured, get him a more defined role in the team and he'll be a solid contributor to the team (glass half full!)

    I would hope we would replace carra after his retirement or bring someone in!

    I will take that pattern if it means the back of Shelvey, Downing, Carroll, Assaidi.

    I think the Northern Chronicle reported that Carroll will sign for West Ham once he's back.

    Nothing against Carroll, but his "slow" acceptance to the West Ham deal is/could mess about with the targets we've identified as replacements additions to the squad with the money he'll bring in..
    Would like it to have worked but it doesn't appear to be the case, so Andy, for everyones sake, take the deal and move on, best of luck for 36 games next season <ok>

    I know what you mean but to be fair, I believe he is still on holidays so it's not as if he could sign /agree personal terms right away.

    If he is still umming and arring after next week, then I'll be concerned!

    Medical is usually in two parts - one at the club and one at a local hospital (I think).

    It is. It could also be done LG but they are waiting for the paperwork, taking pictures, doing interviews so when they announce they have everything done.

    there's a 1000s things that could be.

    it could literally be medical now then he goes home and nothings signed until agents are lined up etc etc

    i miss my Adidas as well.

    quite like the look of those though, not impressed with the away shirts with the flames, but i only buy home shirts any way so no dif to me.
