Not sure if this has been mentioned on here already but Watford were the only club in Europe to have more than 1 player nominated .....although neither is contracted to us at this time but we can gloss over that bit ;)

Just goes to show how spoilt we were this season.

Also noticed that once again I will be on holiday for the family day on 21st July :( Took my (then) 1 and a half year old to it 2 yrs ago but will have now missed the last 2 - shame its right in the middle of the school hols but I guess they dont have much choice.

Have not heard of half of those players nor seen half of those goals. But IMO Bale's best goal was v Sunderland (not v Norwich). Best goal from our league IMO was George Boyd for Posh.

I actually prefer team goals, so would have said Battocchio's personally....

Guess they aren't just as eye-catching as 'screamers', unless Messi is on the end of it!

Which one of our two would you vote for?

    Chalobah's was a one off
    whereas
    Vydra's was brilliant crafted skill

I think for technique, I would say Vydra edges it. To watch the ball from over his shoulder and connect perfectly as he did just about beats hitting it sweetly. Also think Vydra must have been down in confidence as he was off form, not long after missing a much easier effort plus the magnitude of the match! I think in commentary, they said most strikers would have controlled it then shot or passed, but to attempt that and pull it off....

Also a goal for our B team in Italy is on the list.

Vydra's goal was better in my opinion, was that on his weaker foot as well?

Did like the third one on the list - Dumbarton's goal against Livingston. Not often you get one of the Sons mentioned in the same breathe as Europe's finest :)

some cracking goals in the list and I cant really choose between our 2 tbh

don't want to re-open old wounds but how great would it have been if we had finished the job this season for so many reasons....
    1. We could have finally knocked down the East stand and started work on a new one .....just take a look at Udinese's new stadium currently being built...

    2. There would be no doubt re: Vydra et al staying with us
    3. We may have seen a Di Natale swansong at the vic (I have a colleague at work from Napoli who tells me he is not only an Udinese favourite but an Italian fan favourite)

having said all that I still maintain it will prob turn out more enjoyable seeing us romp to the title this year! Hands up who has put a cheeky few quid on us winning the league at 14-1?

Interesting that they are reducing the capacity from 40,000+ to just over 25,000. Tighter to the pitch (no running track) and covered all round so it could be pretty damned atmospheric.
Interesting they've gone for the multi-coloured seats which makes the stadium look more occupied even when it is relatively empty... some of their fans are unhappy about that and would prefer black and white seats only.

being serious for once, I think that is a poor price on Watford
I would of thought 25 or even 33/1 would be right

QPR 20-1 for back-to-back relegations. Might have a little punt on that myself... <ok>

Agree with that. IMHO our best goal last season was the one at home to Huddersfield.

Christ knows what you must think of the derisory 5/1 on offer for your lot then.
