After the events of the weekend I wrote a rather spiteful blog entry last night. I didn't publicise it and I didn't expect anyone to stumble across it. A few hours later (having been visited by MalteseMick himself) it was picked up and republished as an article.

I want to stress that it is not directed at the likes of PMC or any other Hamilton fans who post regularly on our F1 board. It is exclusively aimed at the trolls who appeared over the weekend to attack anyone who raised any criticism of Hamilton's driving or interviews.

Good blog post genji and I agree with what you say. It's almost impossible to really criticise the likes of Lewis if he has done something obviously stupid like vettel in turkey last year and Webber at Valencia. The Lewis effect has worked it's way into his fans that "he never does anything wrong" and "it's clearly somebody else fault". With the guys that were trolling on here obviously didn't like what I had to say. Yes I was caught up in the moment and I have no regrets calling Lewis the new "crash kid" since Whitmarsh gave that name to vettel last year and no team principal has bothered to kick Lewis while he's was down, not a peep from Red Bull or the majority of fans regarding Lewis' terrible driving that day. It's not just Lewis though that will joke about using "the race card". Fans accuse "dislikers" for being racist if they continue to dislike him which is a real cheap shot to use since that's not the case, they don't see why he is disliked by so many people.

He talks ****e at nearly every interview: "If I was in that Red Bull", (making a pop at vettel), "Monaco is a drivers circuit" (another pop at vettel), "I'll give Red Bull a bloody nose this weekend" (yet another pop). I don't think it was as bad the last few years, (maybe it's the media's fault or his PR) but mostly every comment by Lewis regarding other teams have been really toxic, maybe I'm ignoring the posistive quotes but that's how I've been seeing it so far, maybe I don't read enough...

After the Red Button I was left furious by Lewis acting the way he did, blaming everything around him apart from himself. I know I'm an obvious vettel fan but last weekend Lewis took the biscuit and reached a new low in my opinion, I've almost gone back to the 07, 08 days were to be quite frank I can't stomach the guy anymore. After 09 and 10 I thought he was growing up and showing his own fans that he isn't some god on the race track. Yet as we saw this year, so far he is acting more like a boxer, hyping up his profile and acting like a right prat sometimes and in the end shooting himself in the foot saying he's the only one left to challenge vettel and Red Bull and that his car is really a carboard box, while vettel has some sort of jet fighter.

Again the same with Genji, i'm not attacking anybody in general, I'm just still a bit pissed off with Lewis at the moment acting the way he did. Myself i've "accepted" Lewis' twitter apology, and I know he will do the same in Canada infront of the media. Yes it was McLarens fault for putting him in that situation but he did himself no favours...

I still think he has to be either fined or punished for that outburst because he really does have an influence on younger people and he should know that, he first swears on twitter with a fanbase of over 200,000 and then pulls a "funny race joke" to about 5 million people a few months later.

I'm only going to say this once and i'll shut up forever about it: Lewis what the Hell! were you thinking you bloody prat!

*sighs* And now I'm back to normal.

Look what Lewis said was an outburst in the heat of the moment he was angry and kinda pissed off. Lewis always seems to get bad views from other fans IMO especially Alonso ones,

I dont know why but that is that.

He has apologised and I think we should move on but of course there will be WUMS who try to bring it up everytime we say the word Hamilton or Lewis.

Next time Seb or Fernando step out of line.... You will see me run riot as it was unfair that Lewis was treated like he was.

We do need to move on and that's why I went and exorcised my frustrations over in the blog section instead of here on the board. Maybe anyone who has anything to say about Hamilton's outbursts at the weekend should go and stick it in the comments sections of my blog, even though blog entry is about his looney fans (not you, PMC) and not him exactly.

I'm afraid it's bound to be brought up in future, PMC, whenever he next makes a mistake, just like Schumacher taking out Hill and Villeneuve or parking at La Rascasse will never be forgotten, or Alonso's various actions and reactions in 2007 or Singapore 2008. That's the price we pay for being Hamilton/Alonso/Schumacher fans. *sigh*

Maybe if anyone's got something nasty to say they should just say it about Raikkonen.

I'll make a truce with you PMC if that's what you want, but you have to understand your side will always bring up Turkey 10, like I'll bring up China 07 like we both will bring up Abu Dhabi 10 for Alonso.

I'm not singling out you PMC. You know it's impossible to not talk about Turkey like it's going to be impossible to not talk about Monaco.

Yes I was annoyed at the time =/

But I thought Vettel was the best driver in 2010 and deserved the title. Alonso had a great last min attack that season but I know he will have another crack at getting his 3rd WDC soon. I can recommend my shrink if you like <ok> ;)
