This may sound silly, but silly things can happen, there is an area in California called the "Channel Islands!" that would certainly be under Worldwide postage! Couldn't be, could it?

I've just had a look at my details on the website - it's one of those rare ones that you have the option of Jersey as a separate country. I might change that to the county (which is currently blank) and change the country to United Kingdom.

Getting Jersey and New Jersey mixed up is more likely as Channel Islands isn't an option in any of the fields.

I checked on Royal Mail price guide, it specifically says for Channel Islands mark as "overseas" then as you say, Channel Islands is not an option in the Country drop down. and if you mark it as "UK" it cannot find a match!

Looks like the only option is to contact them on their "help" instant messenger and ask someone!

Its a city with a Pop of 1923, that would make Watford Herts a metropolis!
Seems like they have the same weather too!

Watford City ND is named after Watford, Ontario. Apparently, the founder of Watford City came from Canada. Presumably Watford, Ontario is named after Watford, Herts, but it could be named after Gwen for all I know. Watford, Ont connects London with Lake Huron and is by the Great Western Railway. Population is about 1600.

The Channel Isles are not in the UK!! Geographically they are in Great Britain, and their Head of State is the Queen, but politically each Isle has its own government, laws, taxation system etc.

Your first statement is correct, and your last partially correct. Great Britain is England, Scotland and Wales and their islands (Isle of Wight, Orkneys, Hebrides, Anglesey etc) but we are part of the British Isles as is the Isle of Man. Our Head of State is the Duke of Normandy, which is a title held by the Queen, but as we are not part of Great Britain, Northern Ireland or the Commonwealth, we cannot say that she is our Monarch. Jersey has it's own Government, but Alderney, Sark and Herm are all part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey but they do have their own body which deals with certain items pertaining to that island, similar to a town council. We do have our own laws, but some of them are taken word for word from the laws for England and Wales.
