However, this one does seem to have a certain air of confidence, so maybe just a case of fingers crossed??

Should this go through, I wonder how much dosh SC will be given. In all likelyhood, it probably wont be much, but hopefully enough to secure Halford, which now seems more likely given Wolves safety in the prem. And I would love to see De Laet arrive again, be it temp or perm...

With recent experience of Pompey takeovers, I think I would be more worried about whether to believe it when I had seen it!
Funnily enough this sounds more authentic than many previous statements of intent. Be good if we can both have strong teams this coming season and then we can take on some of these northern teams with some intent. Bring on the banter and the games.
