I've travelled, got married, had kids, bought property, got a decent job - and now, at 28, the next major landmark in life is death.
Nae worry mate, you've just got another 60 years of graft and mind-numbing marriage left before you snuff it.
You really are a misery guts Mick, go blow lots of your money you saved up or make up with your freeloading dad and his Polak wench maybe..
Coming to the realisation that I have achieved everything I set out to achieve, I do indeed think that it is just about the right time to have a mid life crisis - I just can't figure out what form this crisis should take - I mean I have no desire to buy a sports car, there is absolutely no good looking fanny on the Isle of Man (who fancy prematurely balding Irishmen), and I'm certainly not having an affair with a munter Running off to Argentina is the best plan I've thought up so far, but I've no idea what I am going to do when I get there.
Obviously I had wider aspirations as a kid and there are regrets but I'm still young and it ain't been too bad so far. Just got to focus on trying your hardest to get your kids to get further to meeting their aspirations, even if I can't really be arsed.
you're so far ahead of 99.9% of most people in your generation. if you live to be an old man, you could be a great-great-great-great grandad.
