Yesterday I caught the presentation of a tennis match and saw supposedly sane people applauding a silver plate and a silver cup. How easily people are brain washed to be concerned about irrelevant meaningless sporting contests.
Tennis, is in my opinion, one of the greatest individual sports, and I have the greatest respect for those that are champions..
Barclays Premier League Trophy is a cup… Champions League is a cup… You have more or less just stated that all sports are pointless...
The Irish Blonde An attractive blonde from Cork, Ireland, arrived at the casino. She seemed a little intoxicated and bet twenty thousand dollars in a single roll of the dice. She said, "I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude." With that, she stripped completely, rolled the dice and with an Irish brogue yelled, "Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!" As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up and down and squealed. "Yes! Yes! I won, I won!" She hugged each of the dealers, picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed. The dealers stared at each other dumb-founded. Finally, one of them asked, "What did she roll?" The other answered, "I don't know - I thought you were watching the dice.” MORAL OF THE STORY Not all Irish are drunks; not all blondes are dumb... but all men... are men!
DISTINCTION BETWEEN GUTS AND BALLS To those of you who are nit-pickers about the meaning of words: there is a medical distinction between Guts and Balls.. We've all heard about people having Guts or Balls, but do you really know the difference between them? In an effort to keep you informed, here are the definitions: GUTS - is arriving home late, after a night out with the boys, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the Guts to ask, are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere? BALLS - is coming home late after a night out with the boys, smelling of perfume and beer, with lipstick on your collar, and slapping your wife on the bottom and having the Balls to say, you're next, chubby. I hope this clears up any confusion on the definitions. Medically speaking, there is no difference in the outcome. Both result in death.
Serena's cups used to be bigger, were the fans as enthusiastic? What would you be willing to have amputated to be a sports star?
Game, set & match marra. I know, I once ate a salmons head & some cold tatties from a swill bin that had a dead rat on top before an e&e exercise. It was that or nowt marra .
