I,m half way through the fourth instalment of Harry Sidebottom's Warrior of Rome series,Been a decent series of reads so far..
Haven't long finished Deception Point by Dan Brown. Not a Robert Langdon novel but really good, would make a really good film I think
Read 2-3 books a week - mostly thrillers; Billingham, Deaver, Connelly, Larrson (used to like James Patterson in the early days - but is too formulaic now - seems to be caught in the conveyor belt, let's get a book out every few months regardless of quality), and some non-fiction (last one was Ash's Premier League Diary - not the best piece of literature but quite entertaining none the less). Last book I read was Len Deighton's 'Goodbye Mickey Mouse' - anyone who wants to know what it was like to be a fighter pilot in WW2 should read this - absolutely superb!
Just finishing Jack of Diamonds by bruyce Courtney - sadly it will be his last book. You really should read his Australian Trilogy Musty - Also Power of One followed by Tandia are absolutely captivating. Read everything by ken follet and Jeffrey Archer, Dick Francis, Jack higgins John Grisham - eraly stephen King were great
Cheeky sod I was being genuine, I read quite a bit and I have asked for my thread to be unstuck, room for this one then
