It was scary tbh. Normally Jenson is very good at putting on his PR face and laughing it off. They're in big trouble.
I think Button will probably retire at the end of the year. McLaren seem to be in decline, I don't think he likes his team mate and he's said before he'd like to do Le Mans. I think he'll probably be in WEC next year. I wasn't watching his interview but I was listening and he was really negative and downbeat. Getting to the stage of the season where Webber usually extends his contract too.
Hamilton doesn't seem to hold Paddy Lowe in high regard. He's probably conscious of the fact he was always responsible for the terrible cars McLaren had.
I think most of the older drivers will retire as their experience will go out the window with the new V6t replacing the V8. (Button and Webber)
Webber should retire now. It's been a long time since he's been a serious challenge to Vettel. Jenson's a fair chunk younger, so i reckon it'll probably depend on whether he has the faith in McLaren to produce a good enough car. If they can get a win this year he'll probably fancy it, but at this stage in his career he won't go for another midfield year.
I think perhaps with his previous dealings with Honda, Button may well hang around for a bit to see if they can produce a decent car and engine
With his previous dealings with Honda it wasn't until they put a Mercedes engine in the back that he won anything.
Wasn't he responsible for this year's Mclaren car? If so you can see why Lewis wasn't exactly singing his praises....
That's awful news... Thoughts are with him. Edit... Crapolla... looks like he got dragged under the front wheel. Not good!
****ing hell: http://www.f1times.co.uk/news/display/07704 Please be alright ffs. Only thing that ****s me off with Jackie talking **** with "safety" is that we already have one Marshal die back in 2002 and not give a ****, please not again!
This is one of the reason's why I hate it when it's said that 'People don't die in F1 anymore'. People forget the marshals who risk life and limb.
Hope so: Connor ‏@cmckinleyF1 1m Slightly better news on the marshal. He was conscious on his way to hospital. Several fractures but no head injury Only problem is that these idiots said Maria only got a scratch from her crash last year when in fact she lost an eye...
Oh **** that looks very bad. These marshals are the bravest people in F1. Thoughts are with him and im sure we all desperately hope he'll be OK. Reminds me tragically of the way we all found it so funny when a marshal tripped in front of Kobayashi two years ago.
****ing hell I hope not!: Tobias Grüner F1 ‏@tgruener 17s #F1 Tractor rolled over the head of a marshall during the recovery of the Gutierrez Sauber. Severe injuries. AMuS: http://bit.ly/11thm6s
