Stuart Pearce has been an absolute disaster wherever he has managed. For example, when at Man City spent his ENTIRE transfer budget on Samaras, the archetypal beanpole target man, and then played him on the wing. The player himself publicly said he was confused as he had never played there in his life before. Yet he continues to somehow get away with because he showed 'passion' on the pitch. If it was anyone else they'd have been hounded out of the job by now. It is a disgrace.
I think at the Euros complacency set in with them in the semis, they should have won that tournament and are easily the best team in world football now. England have been on a slow downward spiral for many years now, a team with the likes of Milner/Jagielka/Lescott in it will never win anything I'm afraid- the goalies a disaster waiting to happen too just like Paul Robinson/Robert Green and all the others since Seaman. Didn't even bother with the u-21s as thought they would be either burnt out/not good enough/, nothing to do with Pearce, we don't have the players and the ones we do have tend to be utter cocks at all levels
Goat curry is great mate- you should try it! Most European teams are built with players with African origins these days- maybe you should go support Finland or something
I take it you're black And that's a good thing? The fewer English players in an England team the better? What a silly bastard you are I'd rather my own country stopped filling its side with foreigners. In fact, I'd like it if all national sides from all continents stopped doing it. If City's starting-XI consisted of ten Ethiopians and a Kenyan I wouldn't give a ****, but I find it a lot harder to relate to 'my' national side (representing a white, Anglo-Saxon-Celtic nation) when they do the same.
Are "they" still foreign even if they are born here Erik? Tell us what the criteria is to get in Erik's England team
They are to me, yes I'd limit the number of non-white players in a starting-XI to two or three, and a squad of twenty-three to four or five, and that's being incredibly generous
So even if they are 2nd or 3rd generation they shoulldnt play for England? Are people of Polish or Indian descent who are born here allowed in Erik's England team?
It's not that bad, Wombat Billy-No Mates probably sat in his mum and dads house now having a little girly chuckle reading this- jobs a good 'un for that internet hardman!
