Fosse, how much In your opinion do you think you would accept if Hobbs was part of the deal?? I know what the fans would like to get for Schmeichel but what do you honestly think the price would be+Hobbs??

We're talking about FoxesTalk, you muppet, and if you're a mod on there as well then the answer to your question as far as I'm concerned is for most of last season!

Fosse, seriously, if you're a mod on Foxestalk then you either shouldn't own up to it, or should sort out your fellow mods. I got banned on there for absolutely nothing at all, other than clearly being a supporter of another club, they really are pathetic ****ers.

there all spackers on there , they all have us down straight away but I bet if it was the other way round they would have them coping quite easily , it's a proper case of the green eyed monster , I tried to tell them a month ago that kasper had indicated to us that if a deal could be agreed he would fancy the move .

... never been on Foxestalk let alone be a mod there - I thought the reference was to the Leicester mods on here ... of which I am. Sorry for any confusion caused.

Difficult one for me Mike, as I never really rated Jack - was good enough in League One but got readily exposed in the Championship and Carlos Tevez made him look like a pub player in the Cup match ... but admittedly he's still young ... personally I'd rather get Elmo as part of the deal (and I don't go for formation bollox - good players can fit in anywhere) ... but to answer your question, £2.5 million and a promising young defender would seem good business ... just can't convince myself that Jack would be the answer to our problems last year ... Richard Dunne would.

Fair enough Fosse, Hobbs missed a decent chunk of the season but when he came back he was very reliable, hard working and most of all solid. Im not sure Bruce would be willing to let him go anyway, like you say still young and in Bruce's eyes he wouldn't have done alot wrong. I might av got the wrong end of the stick here but do you just mean you'd prefare to sign Elmo in general cos he's not our player?

What we lacked last season was 'older heads' (although I'd forgotten that Elmo was on loan with you), real leaders on the field - we only really had Wes Morgan - Jack Hobbs is another 'younger' player - Pearson seems to favour them - I think you have to have the 'mix' right ... and it patently wasn't.

He isn't our player at the moment, but he wouldn't go to you over us anyway. The reason he came to us in the first place was because of Steve Bruce. And you have no Steve Bruces.

EDIT: Should that be Steve Brucii?

I now realise the error of my ways ... but I had heard somewhere that he was not exactly a happy chappy and that we were being linked as 'interested' - which I also take with a fair amount of scepticism at this time of the year ..

Yeah don't think he's been to happy lately Fosse, think i read an interview acouple of weeks ago with Elmo saying he'd been really pissed off with Martin O'Neill for not giving him a chance at Sunderland, can understand it really, he was quality for us and was a big part of us going up where as Sunderland struggled practically all season and may well have gone down if O'Neill hadn't av got the sack. He'd be a great signing for any Championship side but really think he deserves another crack in the Prem, hopefully with us.

The funniest thing is that they are all convinced we are definitely coming straight down. Do they think that all three promoted clubs get relegated every year? I'd say we have a reasonable chance of staying up, with a stronger team than we stayed up with before. If Leicester had gone up with their team they would have been a lot worse off than us.

Agreed - but it's all about who you add and how they fit in. I'm not convinced you'll come straight back down but the bookies seem to have the 3 promoted teams as the most likely to. I think Norwich will find it tough next season - and West Brom without Lukaku could also have a very 'different' season ... Mark Hughes' appointment at Stoke should also bring them well into the reckoning LOL.

I think it's 'Brice' as in; "A majestic herd of Steve Brice migrated across the African Savannah."

Don't worry, it is almost impossible to overtake that level, let alone match it.
